Marvel Rivals March 13 update early patch notes: Human Torch buffs, Cloak & Dagger tweaks

NetEase is rolling out a fresh update for Marvel Rivals, introducing new Twitch drops and several hero bug fixes, targeting the likes of Cloak & Dagger.
Four months after its massive launch on December 6, Marvel Rivals continues to thrive, maintaining a steady player base that appreciates the developers’ responsiveness to feedback.
With Season 1.5 nearing its end, devs are now delivering another update packed with rewards to keep players engaged.

Bug fixes & improvements
- Added a “Raw Input” mouse option under Settings > Keyboard for more precise and responsive aiming.
- Fixed an issue where player names displayed incorrectly in Competitive voice chat when “Hide Own Name” was enabled.
- Resolved a frame rate-related sensitivity bug that caused unpredictable aiming behavior.
- Fixed a problem where messages containing quotation marks sometimes failed to send.
- Addressed several terrain-related glitches where characters could get stuck or clip into unintended areas.
Buffs & nerfs
- Cloak & Dagger:
- Increase the healing effect from Lightforce Dagger on hit allies from 10 to 16; Reduce the spell field healing amount generated by the hit from 18 to 16.
- Human Torch:
- Increase Fire Cluster projectile speed from 120m/s to 150m/s and projectile count from 12 to 14.
- Increase the energy cost of Supernova (ultimate ability) from 3400 to 4000; Increase activation wave damage from 70 to 80 and Flame Tornado damage from 100 per/s to 120 per/s.
- Iron Man:
- Decrease Repulsor Blast stage 1 and 2 direct hit damage from 55 to 40; Increase spell field damage from 35 to 50. Decrease stage 3 direct hit damage from 65 to 50; Increase spell field damage from 40 to 60.
- Decrease Repulsor Blast (Armor Overdrive) direct hit damage decreased from 55 to 50; Increase spell field damage from 55 to 65.
- Loki: Resolved an issue where Loki’s transformation during his Ultimate occasionally caused the camera to shift incorrectly in Past Lives replays.
- Namor: Fixed a rare issue where Namor’s Ultimate wouldn’t deal damage if he was spat out from Jeff the Land Shark mid-air.
- Peni Parker: Arachno-Mines now stay visible even when landing outside Cyber-Webs, ensuring enemies can spot them.
- Peni Parker: Resolved a bug where Spider-Drones could bypass floors when webs were stacked above and below.
- The Thing: Fixed inconsistent Embattled Leap speeds across different players under poor network conditions.
- Venom: Addressed a rare case where Venom could remain stuck in the air after using his Ultimate.
- Winter Soldier: Tainted Voltage now correctly auto-reloads after using Trooper’s Fist, keeping Bucky’s firepower on point and resolved a bug where Bionic Hook caused arm model issues if used during slow-motion match endings.
- Wolverine: Fixed a rare issue where Wolverine’s Ultimate dive attack animation didn’t sync properly at maximum height.
