netease / marvelMarvel Rivals will be getting a new Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure Event, which will bring a new mode and free rewards.
Things are shaping up to be a lot more interesting in Marvel Rivals, as devs have just announced a plethora of new things coming to the game. One of the main highlights is a new mode called Clone Rumble, which already has players speculating which heroes will be fun to play as.
Along with the mode is a new Galacta’s Comic Adventure event, offering a bunch of free rewards that can be unlocked for a limited time.
Though it’s not yet live at the time of writing, we’ve gathered all the details you need to know about it below.
Marvel Rivals Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure Event start and end dates
The Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure Event will be available from March 7, 2025, 1:00:00 AM PT until April 11, 2025, 01:59:59 AM PT.
From a quick glimpse in the Cosmic Rumble trailer, it appears that this event will feature tokens that can be exchanged for dice.

Clone Rumble mode
In a post on X, the developers described Clone Rumble as a mode where “strategy, teamwork, and controlled chaos take center stage”—and from the trailer alone, they’re absolutely right.
Forget about Quick Match or Competitive comps. In this mode, you and all the other players in the lobby can play the same hero.
It’s unclear whether or not some new rules will be implemented in this mode. But one thing for sure: it’d be interesting to see how a match filled with solely Invisible Woman would look like – or perhaps even Groot, where everyone may be building walls like they’re playing Fortnite.
According to the official Marvel Rivals patch notes page, the Clone Rumble mode will only be available on several timeframes, listed as follows:
- March 7, 2025, 1:00:00 AM PT – March 10, 2025, 2:00:00 AM PT
- March 14, 2025, 2:00:00 AM PT – March 17, 2025, 2:00:00 AM PT
- March 21, 2025, 2:00:00 AM PT – March 14, 2025, 2:00:00 AM PT
It’s unclear whether or not the last schedule is a typo as that’s what was shared on the post, but we’ll be sure to keep this section updated once more details emerge.
Free Black Widow skin & other rewards
A Mrs. Barnes costume for Black Widow has also just been unveiled, and it is already confirmed to be one of the rewards included in the event.
Assuming it works like previous events, you need to complete missions to get it. Aside from this, players will also be able to grab additional cosmetics for free. Though all the rewards have yet to be officially shared as of now, from the trailer alone, players can expect to be able to unlock these items:
- 320 Units
- Gallery Card
- 4 Sprays
- 3 Nameplates
- Mrs. Barnes Black Widow costume
- MVP animation
- Emote
