How to play Emma Frost in Marvel Rivals
Emma Frost is a powerhouse in almost any scenario. Nevertheless, you’ll want to keep yourself in the fray using your Diamond Form while ensuring you increase your damage through your weapon and always focus on the same enemy until they’re down.
With this in mind, keep moving around so enemies can’t lock onto you while preparing for your Diamond Form.

Once you’ve enabled that form, use Carbon Crush to grab your enemy and take them down. All while focusing your Psionic Seduction on the S-tier heroes that threaten you.
Lastly, you’ll want to enact your shield towards your squishier teammates — you are a tank after all.
Best team comp
Thankfully, tons of characters work well with Emma Frost. In terms of the best team comp, we recommend pairing her with the following characters:
- Magneto
- Psylocke
- Invisible Woman
- Namor
- Peni Parker
Magneto

Magneto is a perfect addition to any team with Emma Frost thanks to her Team-Up ability. The two are able to thrive with the duplicates, destroying any enemy that attempts to destroy either of the two heroes.
Check out our Magneto guide for more details on the character.
Psylocke
Psylocke is much the same, working well with Emma Frost thanks to the Team-Up ability. She’s a deadly fighter as it is, but with the additional power granted through Mind Link, you’ll be able to both deceive and destroy anyone who gets in your way.
Check out our Psylocke guide for more details on the character.
Invisible Woman

The Invisible Woman is a fantastic strategist who can perfectly complement Emma’s fighting style. She’ll essentially be there to keep you alive and apply a variety of buffs from the backline, while Emma handles the up-close combat.
Check out our Invisible Woman guide for more details on the character.
Namor
Namor works wonderfully with Emma Frost’s Crystal Kick ability. If you line up your kick to knock the enemy into the range of Namor and his minions, they’ll quickly be destroyed, leaving one less problem to worry about.
Check out our Namor guide for more details on the character.
Peni Parker

Peni Parker works the same as Namor, except you’ll want to use Emma’s Crystal Kick ability to knock the enemy into her Arachno Mines and webs. She’s also an ideal fighter for up-front, too, providing a little more support in general.
Check out our Peni Parker guide for more details on the character.
Best counters
If you’re up against Emma Frost and find yourself struggling, then you’ll want to choose some of the counters below:
- Groot
- Iron Fist
- Wolverine
- Thor
- Luna Snow
Groot

Groot’s thorn walls are ideal to stop Emma Frost from her Psionic Seduction ability, leaving your team safe from any unexpected movement or lack of power. Just be sure to watch her for her ability, check out her voice line, and protect your team.
Check out our Groot guide for more details on the character.
Iron Fist
Iron Fist is a stellar tankbuster as it is, and is a perfect counter for Emma Frost. Not only does he do insane damage, but he has abilities that work off the enemy’s health percentage. So, the higher the percentage, the more damage she does, perfect for Emma Frost.
Check out our Iron Fist guide for more details on the character.
Wolverine

Wolverine is not far off the same as Iron Fist, except he has a little more resistance and can withstand going toe to toe with Emma Frost until she uses her Diamond Form. So, time your attacks well and you’ll be fine.
Check out our Wolverine guide for more details on the character.
Luna Snow
Despite what Emma Frost’s ultimate reveals, Luna Snow can easily counter the ability using her own ultimate. During this, she’s able to heal anyone being mind-controlled while supporting the rest of the team. If you have an Emma Frost in the other team, you need to choose Luna Snow.
Check out our Luna Snow guide for more details on the character.
Emma Frost voice actor
Emma Frost is voiced by Laura Post in Marvel Rivals.
She’s best known for voicing Harley Quinn in the Batman: The Enemy Within game, Kasumi Yoshizawa and Sumire Yashizara in Persona 5 Royal, and Amalia and Captain Soldis in Avowed. Fans of the World of Warcraft: Warbringers TV show may also recognise her as the voice of Azshara.
Emma Frost skins

Labelled X-Revolution, she’ll be trading her traditional white outfit for a revealing black number complete with a chain belt, green scales on her jacket, and gold trim.
This Epic skin will cost 1600 Units and come with an MVP animation, an emote, a nameplate, and a spray. She’s based on the Uncanny X-Men comic, published in 2013.
