This also includes one for Ultron, the all-new support hero that’s capable of dishing out a lot of damage while healing allies.
To help keep you in the loop with all the changes, check out all the new abilities as well as the ones that have been removed below.
All new Team-Ups in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5
There were only three new Team-Ups when the season first started. However, the number will double as soon as Season 2.5 drops, introducing new abilities for Ultron, Jeff the Land Shark, Venom, Black Widow, The Punisher, Hawkeye, Luna Snow, Peni Parker, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Man, and Storm.
We’ve outlined all the details below:
Team-Up Ability | Heroes | Effect |
---|---|---|
Symbiote Shenanigans | Jeff the Land Shark, Venom | Jeff the Land Shark can borrow Venom’s symbiote to extend tendrils and link nearby allies for some quick healing. |
Operation Microchip | Black Widow, The Punisher | Black Widow gains a new firing mode for her rifle from The Punisher that allows her primary fire to pierce through enemies while aiming down sights. |
Chilling Assault | Hawkeye, Luna Snow | Hawkeye uses Luna Snow’s ice to fire a special arrow that penetrates terrain. If enemies are far enough away, this arrow also deals bonus damage and stuns. |
Rocket Network | Peni Parker, Rocket Raccoon | Peni Parker uses Rocket Raccoon’s tech to drop a second, smaller Bionic Spider-Nest that also spawns armor packs. Rocket’s beacon is changed into a mini Bionic Spider-Nest that spawns Spider-Drones and even full Arachno-Mines. |
Stark Protocol | Iron Man, Ultron | Ultron gains the ability to use Iron Man’s Unibeam for a powerful, piercing blast that damages enemies and heals allies. |
Jeff-Nado | Jeff the Land Shark, Storm | Storm and Jeff team up to create a hurricane that devours enemies. |
All changes to existing Team-Ups
As a way to prevent characters from having too many Team-Ups, devs explained that they had to make adjustments to the old ones.

Because of this, some heroes have been moved around or swapped out in certain Team-Ups. The changes are as follows:
- Gamma Charge will no longer include Iron Man
Which Team-Up abilities will no longer be available?
Following the removal of Voltaic Union and Metallic Chaos earlier in the season, these Team-Up abilities below will no longer be available in the midseason 2.5 update.
Team Up-Ability | Heroes | Effect |
---|---|---|
Chilling Charisma | Jeff the Land Shark, Luna Snow | Luna Snow infuses ice energy into Jeff the Land Shark, who then can temporarily buff his basic attacks with ice magic, creating an icy area that can slow down enemies |
Allied Agents | Hawkeye, Black Widow | Hawkeye can share his Hunter’s Sight with Black Widow, enabling her to catch sight of and damage afterimages of enemies. |
Ammo Overload | Rocket Raccoon, The Punisher | Rocket Raccoon activates it and benefits the Punisher. Rocket Raccoon throws an Ammo Overload Device in the target direction. |
Symbiote Bond | Peni Parker, Venom | Venom shares a part of his symbiote with Spider-Man and Peni Parker, activating their symbiote abilities.. |
That sums up everything you need to know about the Team-Up changes in Season 2. While you wait for the upcoming midseason update to launch, check out all the new Hellfire Gala skins as well as Ultron’s abilities.
