League of Legends patch 25.17 will turn several champions into viable junglers

League of Legends patch 25.17 is fairly light on balance all things considered, but there’s an interesting trend across the notes: It’s aiming to make several champions who couldn’t previously jungle viable in the role.

Historically, when champions who weren’t meant to be in the jungle got buffed up to be able to kill camps efficiently (Rell, Brand, Zyra, etc.) it’s been a pretty meta-defining affair. The three aforementioned champions got a lot of time in pro play after their buffs, so much so that subsequent nerfs were unavoidable.

However, the champions Riot have chosen to make viable in jungle are certainly interesting this time around. It’s not super clear just how viable Vayne and Nilah will be in the role, but they’ll at least be playable. They’re not the only one’s getting a bit of a jungle makeover, either.
