
League of Legends patch 25.06 features not only a Naafiri rework, but also some huge Gwen changes that may bring her back into the meta. Here’s what we know about the patch notes so far.
Naafiri has struggled to gain popularity since she was added, with her never really shining as a jungler or a mid laner outside of when she was overtuned a short time after release.
After some nerfs to her lane sustain, she fell into obscurity despite being a relatively new champion. Naafiri has never dominated a meta or managed to gain the cult following other lesser played characters have. So, despite releasing less than 2 years ago at this point, she’s getting a substantial set of changes.
Here’s what we know so far about the LoL patch 25.06:

Your Shop returns
As was highlighted in patch 25.05, Your Shop will be returning this patch. There were concerns that the system would be removed from the game entirely after the Hextech Chest controversy, but, fortunately for LoL players who like discounts, it’ll be coming back this patch.
LP refunds
If a cheater is detected in a past match that you lost, LP will now be refunded to the losing team. Winning teams won’t lose LP unless they’re found to be repeatedly queuing with someone who’s cheating. In that case, those who are intentionally queuing with offending players will also be banned.

Naafiri rework

Riot August confirmed that Naafiri’s getting a mid-scope update, but, considering just how long the changelog is, it’s safe to say it’s a bit more of a rework. There’s a lot to take in.

Naafiri’s ult buff has been swapped to her W, with her old dash now being her ult.

- Movement speed adjusted: 70-100% decaying over 4 seconds, reduced upon taking damage >>> 20-30% for 5 seconds
- AD scaling adjusted: 5/15/25 (+8-24% bonus AD) >>> 20% total AD
- Now grants AD and movement speed immediately on cast
- Cooldown reduced: 120-100 seconds >>> 20-18 seconds
