League of Legends now lets you sell your Recall button for some reason and you can’t get it back

A League of Legends bug has managed to make its way into the live version of the game, giving players the ability to sell their Recall button.

League of Legends patch 25.09 went live on April 30, bringing with it huge changes to objectives, core systems, and the usual champion adjustments. While many players will be getting to grips with all the new updates, one feature has left players baffled.

LoL players can now sell their Recall button

Confirmed by LoL YouTuber Vandiril, players can now sell their Recall button at the Shop. During the brief one-minute video, the player can be seen playing a bot game as Blitzcrank and uses his Recall to return to base.

Nothing strange there. However, once they open the item shop screen, Vandiril clicks on their Recall to sell the ability. Upon selling Recall, the button completely disappears, and the player is no longer able to teleport back to base.

More worryingly, once the Recall ability has been sold, there is no way to actually retrieve it. It doesn’t show up in the shop, nor can you undo the action, which makes it particularly problematic if you happen to misclick or make a mistake.

The YouTuber also notes that clicking the recall button and the subsequent keyboard shortcut doesn’t do anything. Instead, you’ll be forced to walk back to base, which isn’t ideal, considering you’ll miss a lot of CS in the process.

Interestingly, the Recall button doesn’t have any monetary value, meaning the vendor won’t even give you any gold for your troubles. So, even if you do accidentally sell this vital ability, you won’t even be compensated for it, meaning any hopes of purchasing an early Liandry’s Torment or pair of Ionian Boots are off the menu.

As of writing, Riot is yet to issue a fix, with players still reporting the bug on the LoL Reddit page. We recommend taking extra care when visiting the shop, as you may be in for a long walk back to base.
