2XKO’s Closed Beta finally has a release date locked in, with the slim roster of eight confirmed champions being given to players so they can give it a test drive at home.

Riot Games, the developers of wildly popular multiplayer games like League of Legends & Valorant, are making their first foray into fighting games, with 2XKO being themed mainly around League of Legends.

Looking to get in on the action? We’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know about 2XKO’s Closed Beta.

2XKO Closed Beta release date

The 2XKO Closed Beta will begin on September 9, and will be up permanently.

This playtest will be available for players on PC only for now, with console planned at a later date. 2XKO will have cross-progression, so players who start on PC will be able to swap to their console of choice later on if they so choose.

How to sign up for 2XKO Closed Beta

In order to get into 2XKO’s Closed Beta, you’ll need to register on Riot’s official sign-up page. Here, you’ll be asked to register with a valid email and Riot account.

From there you’ll be emailed a survey. You must complete that survey to be eligible for an invite to the playtest. An important note, though: If you got into Alpha Labs 1 or 2, you’re already in the beta when it launches.

This was announced alongside Vi, arguably the most obvious League of Legends pick for a fighting game. She brings the beta launch roster up to eight.
