Kick streamer furious as fans find his location and keep calling restaurant

Actionman opens his mouth in shock at a restaurant in Japan.

Kick streamer ‘Ac7ionman’ was left frustrated after viewers ‘stream sniped’ him during his trip in Japan and kept calling a restaurant where he was eating.

Ac7ionman is one of several broadcasters staying in Japan this February, along with other streamers like Twitch star Mizkif and Kick personality Ice Poseidon.

While some creators have been having a relatively positive experience in the country, others have encountered irritating and even downright dangerous situations.

Ac7ionman went through an unexpected and frustrating incident during a Kick stream on February 19, when he and a friend sat down in a restaurant to get some refreshments.

Ac7ionman stunned as viewers find his location in minutes

As they chatted with their viewers, Ac7ionman seemed to realize that he could have leaked their location after showing his friend a menu with Wi-Fi login information, attempting to hide it out of view.

A short while later, viewers could hear what sounded like a business landline in the restaurant ringing, instantly putting the streamer on edge.

“I heard the phone ring,” he explained. “Sorry, my bad.”

The ringing happened again, shocking Ac7ionman, who put his hand over his mouth in disbelief that viewers had seemingly managed to find their exact location so quickly.

“I went to give you the Wi-Fi thing and they saw it,” he said to his friend. “People from the stream are calling. Dude… sorry, guys. Literally did not want to do this. So annoying, dude.”

“It’s such an accidental thing. I forgot. They’re just that on it. The writing [on the menu] was so small, too. Like, what? That’s so f**kin’ weird.”

The group packed up their things, not wanting to cause the restaurant owners any distress during their stay.

“Have a great day,” he told the shop staff as he made his way out of the building. “Thank you.”

Clearly, this was not an outcome that Ac7ionman wanted for the business or his stream — but he isn’t the only one having a difficult time broadcasting in Japan.

A few days prior, Kick streamers LordHito and GaganTV got attacked by two locals after getting into a brief argument in a bar. While they were able to make their escape, the assault was caught on camera, with one of their phones getting stolen in the process.

However, some foreign streamers in Japan have been coming under fire from residents due to their behavior, such as Ice Poseidon, who got confronted by several police officers after picking oranges off of nearby trees and eating them.
