Live streamer ‘Destiny’ is being sued for $1 million in federal court on accusations of disseminating intimate recordings of a woman without her consent.

Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell is a well-known politically-focused internet personality who primarily streams on Kick and YouTube to a combined audience of nearly one million followers.

In January 2025, a police report was filed against Bonnell after two women accused the streamer of sharing intimate videos of them online without their permission.

One of these women, a content creator going by the screen name ‘Pxie,’ said on X that she would sue Destiny for “violating US Federal Code, 15 U.S.C. § 6851; Civil action relating to disclosure of intimate images and for Publication of Private Facts in Florida.”

Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell is a prominent streamer on Kick who is now facing a lawsuit for allegedly sharing intimate recordings of women without their consent.

Come February 18, Pxie has made good on her promise, officially filing a lawsuit in the Southern District of Florida seeking $1M in damages.

In the complaint, Pxie claims that Bonnell shared a private recording of her with one of his fans, who then shared the content with others, eventually finding the video on multiple websites.

According to Pxie’s lawyer, the video “went viral” on social media, causing his client to receive “hundreds of insulting and harassing messages” as a result.

Pxie’s suit also claims that “approximately fifteen women” had received explicit images of people without those parties’ consent from Bonnell.

“Defendant’s actions have caused Plaintiff severe emotional distress, humiliation, and reputational harm,” the lawsuit states. “Plaintiff’s career as a political streamer has been adversely affected and her aspirations of being elected for office have been greatly diminished.”

Pxie’s attorneys argue that Bonnell violated Florida’s cyber sexual harassment law, as well as a federal “revenge porn” law, and have called for a trial by jury to settle the matter in court.

Destiny responds to $1M lawsuit

Destiny addressed the lawsuit in a stream on February 20, where he called the leaks “incredibly disgusting and invasive” and claimed that he was “the primary target” of the published material.

He also accused Pxie of “trying to extract the maximum amount of money from me,” calling claims that he’d shared the videos with the intention of leaking them “baseless, callous and malicious.”

“She makes it explicitly clear that her goal is to simply inflict as much damage onto me as possible,” the streamer wrote.

He also shared an initial legal demand from Pxie’s lawyers, which supposedly demanded $15M at first, as well as a slew of screenshotted conversations with Pxie and other involved parties.

Moving forward, Destiny said he has to “be careful” about what he says regarding the suit and will continue to stream video games in the days following this broadcast.
