GTA Online players are losing thousands of dollars that they’ve shelled out due to an old age bug still not being addressed by Rockstar Games.
Even though the Grand Theft Auto community is still waiting for more information regarding GTA 6, Rockstar Games has plowed on with new updates to GTA Online.
The iconic game developers have added plenty of new content to GTA Online, including new cars, missions, businesses, and even heists, despite the fact that it is well over 10 years old at this point.
They have also clamped down on a number of issues. Cheaters are regularly banned, exploits for jobs have been patched, and those infinite money glitches are long gone. However, they have not addressed the issue of ammo and armor randomly disappearing.
GTA Online’s disappearing ammo is still a big issue
It has been an issue in GTA Online for quite some time, and it is something the community has routinely flagged to Rockstar.
As it hasn’t been fixed, players like Redditor unphaazed have continued to lose out on money they’ve had in-game – be it through spending their own cash or completing jobs. The GTA Online fan noted they’ve lost around $1700 from incendiary ammo just upping and disappearing.
Rockstar ultimately apologized to the player and issued them with $300,000 of free in-game cash. That’s a nice little profit.
“This has been an issue since I started back in 2019. Do not let them lie to you, this will never be fixed,” one fan responded, noting how Rockstar said they are “working hard to resolve this issue” in their apology.
“I’m doing this every time the explosive ammo of my shogun magically vanishes because it does happen quite often,” another added.
Others argued that it wasn’t actually worth reporting, seeing as they could have recouped that money in just a few minutes. Though, making $300,000 isn’t shabby.m
