GTA 6 has been at the forefront of fans’ minds for years now, with trailers garnering millions of viewers and tons of players speculating as to where it’ll be set, who will be featured, and what the gameplay will be like.
Well, thanks to two trailers, we now know it’ll be set in Vice City, among many other locations. So, here’s all we know.
Where is Vice City in GTA 6?

In GTA 6, Vice City is located in the state of Leonida. It features various different locations from the Leonida Keys, Leonida Prison, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga.
Thanks to Rockstars’ new site, Vice City is described as a place where “the glamour, hustle, and greed of America” are placed into one city.
They go on to explain that “each neighborhood has something to offer, from the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach, to the bustling panaderías of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands of the Tisha-Wocka flea market, out to the VC Port, the cruise ship capital of the world.”

What’s Vice City inspired by?
Leonida has been inspired by Florida, which is located in the USA. As for Vice City, it is inspired by the City of Miami, located in Florida.
In the trailers, Vice City is showcased as an over-the-top place filled with a multitude of questionable activities. Naturally, being a GTA game, there is a certain sense of lawlessness in the entire setting.
Additionally, Rockstar Games has confirmed that players will get to experience a story-driven and open-world game. This solidifies the idea that Vice City will be massive and players will have several options to not just enjoy the game, but get lost within it.
