After revealing that GTA 6 will be delayed until May 26, 2026, Rockstar has quickly rectified this disappointment by giving fans a more in-depth look at its upcoming title.
On April 6, much to the surprise of everyone, Rockstar Games uploaded a plethora of new artwork, character details, and a shiny new trailer. During the nearly three-minute-long video, we were treated to an in-depth look at the two main protagonists (Jason and Lucia) and the Vice City setting.
However, much to the surprise of everyone, GTA 6’s latest trailer was captured using a base PS5, which has left fans stunned. This was revealed at the end of the trailer, where Rockstar confirms that footage was “captured on PS5.”
GTA 6 fans blown away by PS5 graphics
“Literally the best graphics I’ve ever seen,” wrote one commenter on Twitter. Another viewer noted how the game “looks more real than real life,” high praise when you consider GTA 6 isn’t utilizing any PS5 Pro enhancements or high fidelity settings from NVIDIA’s 50 Series graphics cards.
Rockstar has officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5. The footage is a mix of gameplay and cutscenes, showcasing the game’s visuals and mechanics directly from the console without external enhancements.
The latest trailer focuses on the two protagonists’ relationship, with Jason picking up Lucia from prison, before the pair quickly go on a crime spree through Vice City. We’re also treated to views of new cars, bars, clubs, and high-octane moments, with one scenario taking place on a plane.
