GTA 6’s soundtrack has been a big talking point within the Grand Theft Auto community over the last few years, so what songs are actually in there?
Getting the soundtrack right is one of Rockstar Games’ signatures when it comes to Grand Theft Auto. The likes of Flash FM from Vice City, K-Rose in San Andreas, and The Beat 102 from GTA IV are still looked back on fondly.
When it comes to GTA 6, fans have been speculating for quite some time about what tunes that Rockstar might choose. The Weekend’s ‘Blinding Lights’ has been a popular pick for a while, but it hasn’t made an appearance yet.
Tom Petty’s ‘Love is a Long Road’ was the initial song used in the first trailer, but we’ve since had a second trailer with a raft of tracks that should get some love for the soundtrack.
All songs used in GTA 6 trailers so far
These include Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson, Child Support by Zenglen, Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung, Talkin’ To Myself Again by Tammy Wynette, and Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters.
Each of these songs can be heard at different points throughout the second trailer, including on car radios, which leads to the belief that they’re going to be on the official soundtrack.
- Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson
- Child Support by Zenglen
- Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung
- Talkin’ To Myself Again by Tammy Wynette
- Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters

We have collated these songs into a Spotify playlist.
I Love Rock N Roll rumored for GTA 6 soundtrack
Fans have also noted that there is a song playing during the intro to Ammu-Nation in the trailer that sounds like I Love Rock N Roll by Joan Jett. However, they aren’t sure if it is exactly that version.
“It sounds like I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, but if it is, it’s not the Joan Jett & the Blackhearts version, nor can I find a cover that sounds exactly like the version in the ad,” one pointed out.
DJ Khaled & Joe Rogan claimed to have radio stations in GTA 6
If GTA V is anything to go off, GTA 6 will have well over 500 songs on the soundtrack. The previous game had 538, including the special Blonded Radio by Frank Ocean.
DJ Khaled has been rumored to have his own unique station in GTA 6. That, according to leaks, would play some of his songs. There could also be other artists in a similar vein too, but those names haven’t surfaced.
There was also a claim that the Joe Rogan Experience would play a role on a radio station hosted by the UFC commentator. However, it seems more likely that Rockstar would parody the JRE podcast instead of actually playing episodes. Though, we’ll have to wait and see.

As we’ve seen from the second trailer, music is set to play a big role in the story. There is a lot going on at the NINE1NINE nightclub, and two of the characters, Boobie Ike and Dre’quan Priest, are involved in the music scene.
Once more songs start to surface, we’ll add them to this list and our Spotify playlist.
Otherwise, we’re all waiting until May 26, 2026, when GTA 6 will finally release after a lengthy delay.
