Grand Theft Auto fans are eyeing another key window to look forward to for the possible release of GTA 6’s second trailer.
It’s been well over a year since Rockstar Games finally announced GTA 6, revealing the long-awaited trailer once and for all. However, they’ve been totally silent since that point, leaving Take-Two, their publishers, to do all the talking.
As a result, some Grand Theft Auto fans have gotten tetchy. They’re eager for a second trailer and additional screenshots. So much so that they’ve been trawling Rockstar’s social posts, websites, and even GTA Online for more clues.
With GTA 5’s multiplayer side of things getting a big update in March, they’re now looking to that as another key period that could, finally, hold the key to trailer two.
GTA 6 fans looking to March for trailer 2 now
The PC version of GTA Online will be brought in line with next-gen consoles on March 4, as it finally gets the expanded and enhanced edition update.
On top of that, GTA fan GameRollGTA pointed out: “Borderlands 4 recently got its second trailer and it launches in 7 months. If GTA 6 was to follow this same pattern, then we can expect Rockstar to drop Trailer 2 towards the end of March.”
That, they noted, has been because of a shift in marketing, with Take-Two focusing on a shorter marketing period for games instead of dragging things out.
Rockstar wouldn’t double come March 4, so don’t mark that in your calendars as a potential day for GTA 6 content.
However, anything after that is definitely in play.

Others have argued that May, when Take-Two hosts their second earnings call of 2025, could be used as a cut off point for Rockstar regarding a potential delay.
The GTA publishers are “confident” the long-awaited game will be released in 2025. Though, admitted it is “possible” that there is a slip to 2026.
Former Grand Theft Auto dev Obbe Vermeij has already stated that the team wouldn’t know until around May 2025 if it needed a delay. So, it’s not farfetched.
