GTA 6 may have been delayed to May 2026, but that hasn’t stopped Rockstar from constantly sharing new details about the game, including the extremely lovable yet morally questionable characters.
While the Grand Theft Auto games are all about exploring all the real-life locations, causing chaos, enjoying the variety of weapons, game modes, and ways to make plenty of money, and well, just about anything you can think of, there’s one feature fans crave in any release… a good story.
The GTA 5 story warmed (and broke) the hearts of millions thanks to the stellar roster of characters, and GTA 6 looks to be no different. In fact, thanks to the second trailer, we finally have more details about those characters. Here’s all we know.
All announced GTA 6 characters
Jason Duval
One of the game’s main protagonists, Jason Duval is a former Army soldier who grew up around gangsters, grifters, and crooks. After leaving the army, he moved to the Keys to work for local drug runners.
Now, thanks to the GTA 6 second trailer, we get to dive into his status around the Keys, his interest in bank robberies and various holdups, and his love for fellow protagonist Lucia Caminos.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia Caminos is another of GTA 6’s main protagonists, only instead of learning to fight in the Army, she learnt from her father, who seems to have been introducing her to crime since she was young. She’s smart, powerful, and loyal, since fighting for her family was the reason she landed herself in prison, Leonida Penitentiary, to be exact.
As detailed in the Rockstar games GTA 6 site, she wants the “good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City,” and Lucia is going to get there, no matter what it takes.
Cal Hampton
Snooping around on Coast Guard coms, drinking beer, and browsing the web, Cal Hampton is Jason’s friend and an associate of Brian Heder.
He’s the type who’s happy exactly where he is, with little worry outside his “casual paranoia.” It’s clear Cal will be the chilled sidekick who’s always there for a good time, but is loyal until the very end.
Boobie Ike
Boobie Ike is described as a Vice City legend, transforming himself from a less than legal gangster into a legitimate business owner. He owns plenty of real estate, strip clubs, and even a recording studio.
While he may be a legitimate business owner, this is still GTA 6, so it’s to be expected that he has his hand in some nefarious activities and is likely not a character Jason or Lucia want to mess with.
Dre’quan Priest
Dre’quan Priest is partnered with Boobie Ike, the hustler and gangster who dealt drugs in order to make ends meet while breaking into the music scene.
He recently signed the Real Dimez as a star, acting as the primary booker for Boobie Ike’s strip club and setting his sights on success.
Real Dimez
Consisting of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, these high school friends use their relentless social media presence, rap tracks, and street smarts to shake down dealers, gangsters, and anyone coming their way for some extra cash.
They’ve recently been signed by Dre’quan Priest for Boobie Ike’s strip club after having an early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY.
Raul Bautista
Raul Bautista is a seasoned bank robber who’s “always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards” meaning he’s likely the one Jason and Lucia will go to when they want to take part in some robberies, as we see in the GTA 6 second trailer.
He’s confident, charming, extremely powerful, and a little reckless, often raising the stakes with every crime he pulls off.
Brian Heder
We see Brian Heder in the second GTA 6 trailer, instructing Jason to “just go get me my cheques,” to which Jason naturally complies. Brian is a classic and extremely powerful drug runner in the Keys, often smuggling product through the boat yard with his third wife, Lori.
He employs Jason and lets him live rent-free at one of his properties, as long as he helps with shakedowns and does a lot of his dirty work.
Are Franklin, Michael, Trevor & Tommy coming back to GTA 6?
Currently, there’s no word on whether the classic characters from GTA 5 will be coming to GTA 6. The likes of Tommy, Trevor, Michael, and even Franklin have all been highly requested among the community, and even the characters’ voice actors, but nothing has been revealed.
It wouldn’t be impossible to see them making a cameo at the least, but let’s hope Trevor’s actor doesn’t get his final wish granted.
Do we know any of the GTA 6 voice actors?
Unfortunately, while we have details on the main characters coming to GTA 6, Rockstar has been extremely secretive regarding their voice actors.
However, when we do find out more about who plays these characters, or get a third trailer which reveals even more people arriving in the game, we’ll be sure to update this article.
In the meantime, be sure to check out everything you need to know about GTA 6, including all the latest news and trailers.
