There are a lot of creatures in Temtem, and choosing the right ones for battling other players in PvP can be tricky, so you’ll want to know which are best.
First released in 2022, Temtem’s gameplay is pretty similar to the likes of Pokemon and Palworld, as it falls under the creature-collection genre.
The game features a plethora of different creatures with their own unique typings as well as abilities. With that in mind, it’s no secret that not everyone is equal, as some monsters will essentially give you more advantage during battles.
If you’d like to keep track of which ones are better to use in the current meta, we’ve detailed a breakdown of the very best Temtem around in our tier list below.
Our tiers explained
We’ve placed all of the Temtem into one of five separate tiers, with those located in the S-tier being the top picks in the game, and creatures in the D-tier are best avoided wherever possible.
- S Tier: The best to use in the game. Always worth having at least one of these in your party.
- A Tier: Really effective, and can handle most challenges.
- B Tier: Not top-tier monsters but still strong enough to make a decent impact on your team.
- C Tier: These creatures certainly aren’t the best, but they can still be helpful against specific monster types.
- D Tier: We’d advise against using these, unless you’re particularly drawn to them (then have at it!).
As of patch 1.8.4, some of the strongest Temtems still include established favorites, such as Vulffy, Kinu, Nagaise, and Nidrasil.
While it’s been a while since the last patch was rolled out, the tier list below has been updated to include Temtems that previously weren’t listed.
