2024 has been an interesting year for life sim fans, with titles such as Paralives and InZOI competing with EA’s The Sims franchise and offering players a glimpse of what to expect next.
Developed by KRAFTON, InZOI is a life sim featuring realistic graphics and a whole lot of customization options. Players essentially get to create their avatar and choose how they would live their life, including how they work, socialize with others, and much more, all while you customize their surroundings.
We’ve compiled everything you need to know about the life sim InZOI, including its release window, gameplay features, trailer, and more.
InZOI release date

InZOI will be released on March 28, 2025 for PC. Originally, the release date was slated for late 2024, but it was pushed back.
As confirmed by devs, the game will be debuting in early access as they wanted to “create an experience that meets the expectations of players who have enjoyed this genre for many years.”
By launching the game in early access, they mentioned this will allow players to provide “valuable feedback” to aid them during development.
Price
InZOI’s early access on Steam will be priced at $40. However, according to PC Gamer, Game director Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim revealed that all the updates and DLCs are going to be free “until there’s a full launch.”
Based on the game’s roadmap, players can expect there to be new features to be added. For example, the one in May will include a Mod Kit, adoption system, and in-game cheat codes, among others.
What platforms will the game be on?
InZOI will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. However, at the time of writing, PC is the only platform that has a concrete release date. Devs have yet to reveal when the life simulation title will be coming to consoles, but we’ll be sure to keep this section updated once more details emerge.
How to play the demo early for free
Players eager to take a peek at the game can jump into the limited-time Creative Studio demo that will be available until the game releases. In this demo, you can try out the character creator as well as the build mode to play around with all the features.

Gameplay details
Gameplay-wise, InZOI lets you create a character and basically do whatever you want in a life sim, whether that be going to the park, finding jobs, or interacting with others to shape your own story.
The game features an open-world setting with creative tools that allow you to alter lots and different parts of the city’s property.
As seen from the game’s trailer and roadmap video, there are extra bits showcasing the game’s weather features, pets, and cars. Another key feature highlighted by KRAFTON is the karma system, where past actions can have consequences in the game.
In terms of character creation, players will have “over 250 points of customization” to make their “Zoi,” starting from their body shape, clothing, hairstyle, appearance, and other fine details. Other players’ Zois will also be available to download, allowing you to interact with the community’s creations.
Other features in the character creator include a photo mode, where you can select poses and backgrounds for your Zoi, and even real-time face tracking via the Live Link Face app.
Will there be mod support?
Yes, players will be able to download and use mods in InZOI as the game will be released with built-in mod support. Developer KRAFTON is partnering with Overwolf to ensure the “community has the best tools and resources to bring their creative visions to life”.
