Lost Soul Aside is an upcoming action-adventure game that aims to wow Bayonetta and Devil May Cry fans with its sleek combat. So, if you’re looking to find out about the release date, gameplay, and launch platforms, we have you covered.
Revealed at Sony’s 2025 State of Play, Lost Soul Aside is a futuristic fantasy adventure where players control a reluctant hero named Kasar as he goes on an adventure to save the world. To do so, he needs to absorb the power of a mysterious being known as Arena.
The game looks like a mix between a modern Final Fantasy title and Devil May Cry, featuring an epic story, fast-paced combat, and some innovative platforming elements.

Lost Soul Aside release date
Lost Soul Aside will be released on August 29, 2025. The game was originally meant to launch on May 30, but was subsequently delayed. Game Director, Yang Bing, revealed the news via a Tweet on April 30, explaining that their team is taking the time to polish the game.
“To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game…We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for the launch.”
It’s also important to note that Elden Ring Nightreign is releasing on May 30, so the delay will ensure Lost Soul Aside isn’t competing with FromSoftware’s upcoming multiplayer game.
Platforms
Lost Souls Aside will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC. There’s been no word on a Nintendo Switch or Xbox release.
