An official announcement of the long-awaited Oblivion Remastered is finally coming, so here’s how you can tune in and watch the reveal.
At this point, the remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of the worst-kept secrets around. Plenty of leaked information and images have all but confirmed the project’s existence, with rumors of a shadowdrop swirling, but Bethesda have remained quiet throughout.
Now, the speculation is finally about to come to an end, as a full reveal has been announced. Here’s when and where you can see it.
How to watch Oblivion Remastered reveal
The Oblivion Remastered reveal will be shown on Bethesda’s official Twitch and YouTube channels on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST. You can find the YouTube stream below and the Twitch channel here:
Leakers had claimed that the game would release with no prior announcement on April 21, but while this turned out to be incorrect, just this confirmation that the game is real will be enough to get fans hyped.
What to expect
It hasn’t been confirmed exactly what will be shown during the stream, but we’ll almost certainly get our first official look at Oblivion Remastered and the upgraded visuals.
It’s also likely that the devs will show off any major changes from the 2006 original, such as overhauled systems, extra features, and quality of life changes.
But, most importantly, players will be hoping that we get a concrete release date. The possibility of a shadowdrop after the event remains possible, but there have been some rumors that an April 24 launch could be on the cards.
Alternatively, there’s also a chance that the release date will be further away, allowing fans to pre-order it ahead of time.
Either way, it’s best to clear some space on your hard drive, as leaks have revealed that Oblivion will come with a hefty file size that dwarfs every other Elder Scrolls game.
