How to get VC fast in PGA Tour 2K25

PGA Tour 2K25 is all about proving yourself against the best in the golfing world and, for that, you’re going to need VC. So, here are the best ways to get it fast.

Following the success of PGA Tour 2K23, 2K Sports and HB Studios have teamed up again for PGA Tour 2K25. If you haven’t gotten involved in the early access period or demo yet, the game is a beautiful upgrade from its predecessor.

MyCareer feels very much alive with RPG-like elements, you’ll be challenged more than ever with the EvoSwing, and it’s nice to play a handful of Majors again. Oh, and the course designer is better than before too.

It is MyCareer that really dominates this year and that, like plenty of other 2K titles, means a focus on VC. You need it to upgrade your MyPlayer, buy new clubs, and everything else. But how do you get it quickly?

MyCareer & sponsorships

The easiest way to get big VC in-game is to win tournaments in MyCareer. Plain and simple. The more success you have, the bigger the payouts are going to be. The jump in VC gain from the Korn Ferry Tour to the PGA Tour is sizable.

That is made easier this year with Dynamic Rounds in MyCareer, which allows you to sim a few holes and then jump in to make sure everything is all good.

Obviously, if you want to actually play the game you’ve paid for, you might skip this feature for a little bit. That is going to add time to your VC grind, but it isn’t the end of the world.

On top of that, you also have the sponsorships. As you rack up your three backers, they’ll pay out VC as you progress your reputation. This is helped by scoring wins and partaking in interviews. So, get involved.

Interviews and sponsorships play key roles in MyCareer.

Quests

Quests are the other best way to propel your VC grind, especially if you are going to forego the Dynamic Rounds and actually play the holes.

You can complete quests that range from making five consecutive birdies to playing a round in a certain type of clothing. Though, we should note that we have had issues with the latter type. One quest asked players to play a round wearing Sunday Red clothing, but it didn’t pay out after doing so.

Additionally, there are daily quests that can be ticked off with just a few minutes of playtime too. You don’t have to just progress through MyCareer or Head-To-Head.

Locker Codes

Locker Codes will grant you some decent amounts of VC over the coming year, however, these are going to be a more infrequent source than everything else.

If you keep your eyes peeled to social media, TGL, and actual PGA Tour events on TV, you’re going to see different Locker Codes pop up. So far, we’ve had a few in early access that pay out around 500 VC each time. That isn’t shabby.

Clubhouse Pass

The other big way to make VC in PGA Tour 2K25 is through the Clubhouse Pass. In the premium section of Season 1, there is almost 3000 worth of free VC. There is also a handful on the free track.

Obviously, you do have to shell out actual money – $9.99/£9.99 – to get on the premium track if you haven’t got an upgraded version of the game. So, take that into consideration too.

The Clubhouse Pass is a microtransaction, but it grants some nice VC

If you really do want to spend more money on the game, you can buy different VC bundles too.

However, if you’re committed to not doing that, take heed of this advice and just start grinding out rounds of golf.
