How to get Monster Fluid in Monster Hunter Wilds & uses

Monster Fluid is a crafting material used to forge weapons and armor in Monster Hunter Wilds. However, despite being a non-rare item drop, knowing exactly where to get hold of this item can be tricky. 

Monster Fluid is used to craft Bone weapons and other useful gear in Monster Hunter Wilds. With Bone weapons offering high raw damage in the early game, many Hunters will want to forge them. 

After all, having higher damage will mean you’ll be able to farm the game’s monster roster more efficiently. This is important for any Hunter looking to speed through the campaign and delve into High-Rank multiplayer hunts. 

So, whether you’re looking to build Bone weapons or fancy crafting yourself some new armor, then here’s exactly where to get Monster Fluid. 

Where to get Monster Fluid

Monster Fluid is dropped by Low Rank Bulaqchi, Vespoids, and Nerscylla Hatchlings, which can be found in the Plains, Forest, and Cliffs.

We recommend doing the Buggin’ in the Desert optional quest if you’re in the early game, which you can select from Alma in the Base Camp. 

This quest will task you with killing 12 Bulaqchi in the Plains. Once you’ve accepted the quest, simply head over to Area 1 of the Plains, and slay the Bulaqchi in the hollow. You can use your Seikret to take you to the location to speed up the process. 

Don’t bother using any poison smoke bombs or low level weapons to kill them, as you’ll be rewarded with a bounty of Monster Fluids as a quest reward. The Monster Fluids drop rate from Bulaqchi is 30% and the quest only takes one minute.

Alternatively, if you can hunt Nerscylla, we recommend selecting the Dance of Shadows quest from the board. While your main objective is Nerscylla herself, focus on clearing and carving the carcasses from the dozens of hatchlings that spawn nearby her. This is by far the best way to farm Monster Fluids, as the drop rate from Nerscylla Hatchlings is 100%.
