
Hot on the heels of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest showcase on June 6, Microsoft’s June 8 showcase revealed all the games coming to Xbox and other platforms throughout 2025 and beyond.
If you missed the show, worry not. We’ve compiled all the big reveals, including trailers for every announcement, below.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Microsoft’s Xbox Ally handheld represent the two biggest highlights of the show, which was interspersed with trailers for numerous indie games and other first-party heavyweights, including Outer Wilds 2 and Gears of War: Reloaded.

Outer Worlds 2
Microsoft kicked off its 2025 showcase with a sizzle reel for Outer Worlds 2. Obsidian’s sequel is getting its own dedicated showcase following the conclusion of its main showcase but this trailer provided a taste of the first-person RPG.

High on Life 2
High on Life 2 is the sequel to Squanch Games’ original, released in 2022. Like the first game, High on Life 2 retains its comedic themes and first-person perspective, bursting with colour and fast, frenetic action.

Resonance
A prequel to A Plague Tale: Requiem, Resonance takes place 15 years before the former, featuring a younger Sophia as she seeks to survive in the unforgiving 14th century.

ROG Xbox Ally
Microsoft unveiled a first official look at the ROG Xbox Ally during its Games Showcase. The console, coming in late 2025, will be available in two versions, the Ally, and Ally X. Both will operate on Windows 11 and have been created in partnership with ASUS.

The Blood of Dawnwalker
The Blood of Dawnwalker is developer Rebel Wolves’ first chapter in a new RPG saga. Players will take on the role of Coen, a Dawnwalker with numerous vampiric skills.

Super Meat Boy 3D
Indie icon Meat Boy returns with a new super-tough platformer, this time in a completely 3D world.

Ninja Gaiden 4
Team Ninja and PlatinumGames’ team-up to deliver a return to the legendary Ninja Gaiden series, the fourth entry received a brand new trailer during Microsoft’s showcase.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants
Indiana Jones fans will enjoy further adventures in the Great Circle in 2025. The Order of Giants releases September 4, 2025 and sees Indy visit Rome to investigate a dangerous cult.

Beast of Reincarnation
Beast of Reincarnation takes place in a post-apocalyptic Japan fraught with danger at every turn. Developed by Game Freak, the developer of the mainline Pokemon games, Beast of Reincarnation releases in 2026.

Clockwork Revolution
Sporting a steampunk aesthetic, Clockwork Revolution is a brand new adventure set in the slums of Avalon. You’ll play as Morgan Vanette, a member of the Rotten Row Hooligan gang.

Grounded 2
Outer Wilds 2 isn’t the only game Obsidian has been working on. Grounded 2 expands on the original with more survival action-adventure experiences, with players able to go it alone in the larger-than-life world or via multiplayer. Grounded 2 comes to Game Preview on July 29, 2025.

Cronos: The New Dawn
Cronos: The New Dawn is described as a “pulse-pounding, third-person survival horror game.” from renowned horror game auteurs, Bloober Team.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Tales of Tamriel
A new content update for The Elder Scrolls Online debuted at the showcase. Tales of Tamriel showcased numerous new adventures players will have access to when the update arrives.

Aphelion
Aphelion is a story-focused sci-fi adventure game developed and published by DON’T NOD. Available in 2026, Aphelion takes place in 2060 and sees a group of explorers venture to Persephone, a mythical ninth planet discovered in our solar system.

No Ghosts At The Grand
No Ghosts At The Grand is a kooky, colorful puzzle-solving game. As the heir to what’s initially an unassuming hotel, you’ll explore the building room by room to uncover its past.

Age of Mythology: Retold – Heavenly Spear
Heavenly Spear introduces 12 new gods, units, and a standalone campaign to the real-time strategy game, Age of Mythology: Retold.

MUDANG: Two Hearts
MUDANG: Two Hearts is a stealth-action game set in modern-day South Korea. Just as North and South Korea are due to commence reunification, an unknown group attacks the latter’s National Assembly. It’s up to you to discover the truth.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf
Planet of Lana II is a cinematic puzzle game said to “double the size and scope” of the original game. The sequel centers around characters Lana and Mui.

Fallout 76’s next big update is a fishing-focused expansion, Gone Fission.

Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive
Based on the mega-popular Korean fantasy novel, Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive is an action-RPG featuring four-player, real-time co-op.

Aniimo
Aniimo is a free-to-play creature-catching ARPG releasing in 2026. You’ll take on the role of a Pathfinder who can collect, evolve and ‘twine’ with numerous titular animals, called Aniimo

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4
The iconic skating series returns with more remakes of classic entries in the franchise. With today’s trailer, it was confirmed that players who pre-order will get access to the Foundry Demo, which includes two playable skaters and parks, as well as a limited in-game soundtrack.

At Fate’s End
At Fate’s End is a 2D action-platformer releasing in 2026. Boasting a distinctive art style and card-based tarot mechanics, you can get a feel for the gameplay flow below.

Gears of War: Reloaded
The iconic Gears of War game that started it all returns on August 26, 2025, as Gears of War: Reloaded. Sporting up to 120 FPS support and 4K resolution, this version of Marcus Fenix features cross-play and cross-progression.

Persona 4 Revival
Persona 4 Revival, a remake of the original 2008 RPG, was confirmed for Xbox consoles during Microsoft’s showcase.

Sea of Thieves – Smugglers’ Tide
Sea of Thieves, Rare’s long-running multiplayer adventure game, receives a free update for all players in August with Smugglers’ Tide.

Invincible VS
Based on Robert Kirkman’s popular Invincible comic books, Invincible VS is a brand-new 3v3 fighting game set in the same universe, releasing in 2026. The game is being developed by Quarter Up, a Skybound studio.

Final Fantasy VII & Final Fantasy XVI
Microsoft confirmed that two of Square Enix’s modern Final Fantasy RPGs, VII and XVI, are headed to Xbox. The former, the first in a trilogy of remakes, will be available in late 2025. Final Fantasy XVI, on the other hand, was shadowdropped and is available on Xbox right now.

Microsoft closed the show with a long-awaited reveal of the next Call of Duty. Officially called Black Ops 7, the sequel, while featuring no gameplay, confirmed the return of several iconic characters with a cinematic.
