Although the hype surrounding Palworld has tapered off in recent months, the monster-taming game is nonetheless still moving forward with plenty of big updates in the pipeline. Next on the calendar is one particular update fans have been begging for since the game rose to fame in 2024.

That’s right, Palworld is finally getting crossplay support after a year of patience from the community. But we’re still yet to here word about cross-progression support.

When is crossplay coming to Palworld?

Crossplay is officially set to arrive in Palworld later this month. Developers have confirmed the special Crossplay Update will arrive in “late March.”

So while there’s no exact date locked in just yet, we know to expect the big update imminently. Rest assured, we’ll keep you up to speed right here when a specific day is announced.

Back when Palworld first launched, in the game’s official Discord FAQ, devs detailed plans for crossplay support, stating: “Not at launch, but we are working to make this a possibility as soon as possible!” So, while it’s not there at the moment, it’s certainly something the devs are planning on adding.

Clearly, it took quite some time to figure out, but now it’s finally on the way.

Does Palworld have cross-progression?

In a similar way to crossplay, Palworld does not have cross-progression right now. So you’ll want to be careful about which platform you choose to play the game on, or you may just have to start again if you head to a different console.
