Avowed Crafting: All recipes & how to unlock

Avowed mods

Avowed players will require crafting to progress in the game, so if you ever want to make your own stuff you better learn all the useful recipes the game has in store.

Crafting in Avowed is a must, though it isn’t very straightforward. However, with a little help, you’ll be churning out materials to upgrade and enchant weapons.

Let’s break down the steps, recipes, and materials you’ll need to create some seriously cool gear, instead of accidentally fabricating a dangerous toxic concoction.

How to craft in Avowed

You can craft in any camp’s Workbench by switching to the Crafting tab.

  1. Find a camp spot near an Adra Waystone.
  2. Hunt down the workbench marked by the anvil icon.
  3. Switch over to the Crafting tab.

How to unlock crafting recipes

You’ll find a list of available recipes on the menu. But here’s the catch – some of these recipes are unavailable, so you must progress through the game and complete certain tasks in order to unlock them.

Don’t expect to start making Dragon Hide right away, as you’ll also need to unlock certain recipes through abilities like the Survivalist passive in the Ranger tree.

How to get crafting materials

Luckily, usable materials are everywhere and there are many ways you can get them. Loot chests, defeat enemies, complete quests, or just dismantle old items you’re tired of carrying around to get them.

You can also harvest plants and even buy materials from merchants. The more you gather, the more you can craft – of course – you’ll need to craft a lot.
