HypergryphArknights: Endfield is an upcoming 3D real-time RPG that aims to deliver an exciting experience for newcomers and those already familiar with Arknights.
The eagerly anticipated title will take players on a mysterious journey as they defend the planet of Talos-II from catastrophe. Unlike its mobile game predecessor, this is set to be much more immersive and looks to rival gacha giants like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.
Does Arknights: Endfield have a release date?
Arknights: Endfield is expected to arrive by August 30, 2025. It will be available on PC, PS5, and mobile devices.
This is based on a deadline set by China’s National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA). In September 2024, they published a list of upcoming games that received licenses for publication but they all had to be released within a year. As Endfield is included in the document, it should be out before September 2025.
There’s always a chance the dates could change however if the devs need more time they can apply for a new license. Either way, we’ll keep you updated with the latest details right here.
Trailers
The Arknights: Endfield CG trailer aired on March 18, 2022. During the trailer, players get a glimpse of Talos II — a vast uninhabitable desert that is home to both danger and numerous catastrophes.
The gameplay demo trailer above highlights how players can freely switch characters as they explore Talos-II, using their party to complete missions, unlock new story chapters, and take on various challenges.
Encounters with enemies will also involve real-time combat, where “various tactics” will be needed to defeat the in-game threats.

A beta test trailer was released on December 14, 2024. It gives fans a cinematic look at some of the key characters, and some of the action-packed combat you can expect to enjoy. From the brief look, we can see teams of heroes battling powerful monsters using a mixture of melee and magic-type abilities.
A Special Trailer was released on January 20, 2025, showcasing another cinematic look at core characters, combat, and the environments on Talos-II.
Gameplay
Arknights: Endfield combines exploration and action combat with base building as its core gameplay loop. In some situations, you’ll have to defeat hostiles before you can establish a new building or complex.
Using production lines will be important as they can produce gear, food, explosives, and medication that you can use on your journey.
The explorable environments include mountain ranges, river systems, and a lot of rich vegetation that covers the land.
HypergryphClosed beta
A closed beta for the game started on January 16, 2025, and currently has no end date.
Any progress made during the beta period won’t carry over to the full release, however, but we’d still recommend jumping in to experience the building and combat mechanics. We’ve also got a full guide on how to access the beta you can check out.
