How to get an Aqua Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds & what you can use it for

Getting an Aqua Sac is very important in Monster Hunter Wilds as it enables you to build some powerful early-game weapons and armor. So, here’s how you can quickly farm this item and all the monsters that drop it.

Whether you’re looking to build the Guild Knight Sabers or the Balahara armor set, you’ll need to farm plenty of Aqua Sacs. After all, having access to the best weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds can greatly reduce your kill times.

This Low Rank material is dropped by two Large Monsters known for water-based attacks that inflict waterblight – a deadly ailment that reduces stamina recovery speed. So, if you’re looking to build your next Long Sword or just need to forge some new armor, here’s the best way to farm Aqua Sacs. 

Where to get Aqua Sac 

You can get Aqua Sacs from killing Low Rank Balahara and Uth Duna. We recommend fighting Balahara, as the Aqua Sac has an 18% drop rate.

You’ll be able to farm Aqua Sacs by heading over to the base camp tent and selecting the Sand Sea Surges quest. It’s important to note that you’ll need to be HR 2 before you can do this quest. 

The second best way to get the Aqua Sac is by fighting Uth Duna, who has a 16% chance of dropping this monster material. We recommend farming the Veild by the Tied quest if you wish to make Uth Duna’s armor and water-type weapons.

The Uth Khviluk I (Bow) and Uth Khlunda I (Long Sword) are particularly potent when it comes to dishing out powerful water attacks. After all, having powerful water weapons is incredibly useful when you’re trying to find and kill Black Flame (Nu Udra) and other fire-type monsters.  

Both Balahara and Uth Duna are weak to Thunder elemental attacks, so once you have access to Rey Dau, you’ll be able to cut down your kill times. Until then, it’s best to use any weapons that have high raw damage.
