RuneScape Dragonwilds is Jagex’s new survival co-op game set in the same universe as RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape. As such, it follows a similar skill and unlock structure to its massively multiplayer siblings.
Released April 15 on Steam, nine skills are currently available in Dragonwilds, all of which govern how your character interacts with the world. Jagex intends to introduce new skills as well as expand those already available with future updates.
As an Early Access title, the number of unlocks associated with each skill varies wildly, with some yet to receive any at all. However, there are still plenty of reasons to start grinding experience in the land of Ashenfall – you’ll want all of these abilities if you hope to survive against the Dragon Queen’s brood.
All skills & unlocks
Every skill and its associated unlocks can be found below. Note that Dragonwilds has both major and minor rewards for levelling its skills. For example, the Attack skill, which encompasses melee combat, awards a -1% Attack Stamina Cost for every level in which a new ability or upgrade isn’t earned.
Likewise, while the maximum cap of every skill is planned to be 99, all are currently capped at 40 in Early Access. It’s not known if XP earned beyond level 40 will retroactively apply when the cap is raised or if you’ll be prevented entirely from earning XP upon reaching the temporary cap.
Attack

The Attack skill, as you’d expect, covers all combat related to close-quarters melee. Defensive abilities, elemental weapon enchantments, and recipes that augment your strength can be found here.
Receive -1% Attack Stamina cost for every Attack level not listed below.
