DexertoFast travel is a great way to speed up monster hunts. After all, launching a quest from a pop-up camp in Monster Hunter Wilds is much faster than riding your Seikret all the way from Base Camp.
However, not all pop-up camps are created equal. While some areas have plenty of them, most are either poorly secured or dangerously exposed, making them easy targets for monster attacks. And let’s be honest – no matter how fast you drag your sweet character and palico there, a Chatacabra or Quematrice can wipe it out in seconds.
In this guide, I’ll show you where to find every pop-up camp in Monster Hunter Wilds, with a special focus on the safest ones.
Windward Plains camp locations

How to reach Camp 4 Mineral Cave
To find the Mineral Cave Campsite in Area 4, you must exit the Base Camp through the southwest exit with your Seikret and keep jumping up the platforms until you reach the west-most corner of the map with the Mineral Cave. You’ll know you’re there when you feel like you’re inside a Mining Outpost.
How to reach Camp 14 Groundwater Vein
To find the Groundwater Vein campsite in Area 14, look for the cave east of the oasis in the plains. Head underground and drop to the very bottom of this cave. As soon as you do, look left to spot a tiny hole on the wall and head through it to find the campsite.
Scarlet Forest camp locations

How to reach Camp 6 Flowering Rocks
While in Area 6, look for a tree with a gap in the center and head through it to uncover a secret area. At the center, you’ll spot this campsite.
How to reach Camp 16 Ruin Interior
To find Campsite Ruin Interior, head to Area 15 where you fought Uth Duna. Here, look for a short vine on the mountains west. Climb it and head inside a cave and just follow the trail to find this campsite.
