Aside from its Battle Royale aspects, Fortnite is known for its wide range of cosmetics, often featuring characters from different IPs. Chapter 6, Season 2, for example, is known for its Mortal Kombat collab, adding Sub-Zero in the Battle Pass as a skin.
Not only that, players who jump in the Battle Royale can also use his Mythic ice gauntlets, which aren’t just a solid weapon to decimate enemies but also a great mobility tool.

How to unlock free Mortal Kombat rewards from Twitch Drops in Fortnite
To unlock the free Mortal Kombat cosmetics, you need to watch any live stream under the Fortnite category on Twitch from March 28 to April 8, 2025.
epic gamesThe rewards are essentially spread out on different days, with each having a minimum time you’re required to hit from watching the stream. Below is a list of all of them and their respective schedule.
Mar 28 (2 AM ET) – March 31 (2 AM ET)
- Watch 1 Hour: Command Executor Pickaxe
Mar 31 (2 AM ET) – April 4 (12 AM ET)
- Watch 30 minutes: Raiden Lightning Bolt Wrap
- Watch 1 Hour: Scorpion Flame Aura Wrap
- Watch 1.5 Hour: Kitana Fan Swipe Wrap
April 4 (12 AM ET) – 8 (12 AM ET)
- Watch 2 hours: Lil’ Armored Truck Emote

How to link your Epic Games and Twitch accounts
Like any other Twitch Drops, it’s worth noting that you’ll need to connect both your Epic Games and Twitch accounts for the rewards to show up in-game.
So, if you haven’t done so already, follow the steps below:
- Head to the Epic Games website.
- Sign in with your details.
- Select your profile icon and choose “Account” under the drop-down menu.
- Select “Apps & Accounts” on the left tab.
- Select “Connect” on Twitch.
- Follow the rest of the prompt.
Once you have that set up, you can claim the free Mortal Kombat cosmetics, all of which should appear in your locker the next time you log in.
