With the new AI-powered feature, you can locate, battle, and then converse with the Sith Lord himself in real-time. But first, you’ll need to track him down and prove you’re worthy.
Here’s every location where you can find Darth Vaderand how to talk to him.
How to find Darth Vader
Darth Vader spawns at one of three specific locations every match.
- First, try Samurai’s Solitude on the southwest corner of the map.
- If he’s not there, try just west of Masked Meadows, a quieter area with plenty of loot to prep for the fight.
- Your third and final shot is southeast of Floxy Floodgate, where he often appears ominously surrounded by fog and chaos.
DexertoOnce you find him, get ready for a proper boss fight. Vader is no pushover and he’s armed with a lightsaber, Force abilities, and the confidence of someone who blew up Alderaan.
When you finally defeat him, accept the prompt to take his lightsaber and step into the portal that appears. Congrats: you now have a Sith Lord on your squad.
How to talk to Darth Vader AI
After Vader joins your team, you’ll notice a new on-screen prompt allowing interaction: this is the “Conversational AI” feature.
DexertoTo enable it, head into Fortnite’s Settings menu. Under the Keyboard Controls tab (or Controller Settings, depending on your platform), assign a button to activate AI conversation.
Once that’s set up, press the key when prompted and start speaking through your mic. Vader will respond in real time using voice AI tech modeled after James Earl Jones.
