Fortnite will be shaking up the map once again for Chapter 6 Season 4, bringing new POI locations, landmarks, and map changes.
Gone are the peaceful purple forests and autumn temples. In their place, we get nest-covered bunkers, bug-infested strongholds, and high-tech military bases trying to hold the line. The Hive now sits at the heart of the map, oozing danger, while nearby zones like Swarmy Stash and Ranger’s Ruin tell the story of a world overrun.
Map verticality still plays a huge role, but now it’s joined by brand-new traversal options like the Roly Poly, letting you zoom around in a bug-shell ball. With new enemies, new tech, and a reimagined battlefield, Fortnite’s latest map is looking bugging wild.
New Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 POIs

Here are the new locations in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4:
- The Hive
- Swarmy Stash
- O.X.R. HQ
- Ranger’s Ruin
The Hive

Replaces Lonewolf Lair
The Hive is ground zero for the bug invasion. Twisted roots wrap around metal ruins, and glowing egg sacs pulse in every corner. It’s a high-risk, high-reward POI where Swarmers skitter through tight corridors and Queen bugs lurk deeper in the nest. If you survive the chaos, you’ll walk away with top-tier loot and possibly some bug guts on your boots.
Swarmy Stash

Replaces Replaces Flooded Frogs
Don’t let the cutesy name fool you. Swarmy Stash is crawling with enemies, both human and insect. Nestled between The Hive and O.X.R. HQ, it’s a swampy scrapyard filled with sticky traps, busted crates, and enough bug nests to give anyone the ick. Great for ambushes, risky for looting. Enter if you dare.
O.X.R. HQ

Replaces Brutal Boxcars
This high-tech stronghold is home to the island’s last line of defense against the infestation. Laser fences, containment pods, and anti-bug artillery line the perimeter. Inside, you’ll find bunkers, mission briefings, and gear tuned specifically to wipe out creepy crawlies. Expect heavy resistance and even heavier firepower.
Ranger’s Ruin

Replaces Crime City
Ranger’s Ruin used to be a cutting-edge weapons lab. Now it’s overrun by the very creatures it was trying to stop. Broken machinery, scorched walls, and corrupted test chambers tell the story of a battle lost. But hidden deep inside are experimental weapons and rare gear, if you can outgun the bugs still lurking in the shadows.

Utopia City

Replaces Seaport City
A dazzling reimagining of Seaport, now pulsing with sleek futurism and vibrant energy. Stroll past cutting-edge shops, savor a Foe Burger, and marvel at the golden fountain at its heart. Just beyond, a shimmering portal whispers of Chapter 1 secrets and the mystic power of the Zero Point.
Supernova Academy

Replaces Magic Mosses
Supernova Academy is the go-to spot for heroes in training. It’s packed with everything from gyms and libraries to labs and dorms for Hope, Jones, and the rest of the team. You can meet Superman, explore secret vaults, and take on challenges in Morgan Myst’s underground training room.
Demon’s Domain

Replaces Masked Meadows
Demon’s Domain is where things get intense. Once Daigo’s hometown, it’s now a shadowy temple warped by the Spirit Realm. Cracks from his ritual above lead to a new portal below. Face off against Daigo for powerful loot, and if you look hard enough, there’s even a hidden tennis court underground
Shogun’s Solitude

Shogun’s Solitude feels totally refreshed. The old Empire is gone, and the mountaintop has been reimagined with peaceful water features, frog statues, and scenic dueling grounds. It’s quiet, calm, and perfect for a break or a showdown. Definitely worth the hike if you’re up for a little serenity with your battles.
First Order Base

Steel, snow, and bad vibes. This frosty fortress is crawling with Stormtroopers and ruled by Captain Phasma herself. Expect heavy blaster fire, awkward imperial architecture, and a medallion that keeps your pew-pew from overheating.
Resistance Base

Hidden in the woods like a cozy rebel Airbnb. You’ll find X-Wings, camo tents, and the spirit of rebellion thick in the pine-scented air. Great for loot, sneaky flanks, and channeling your inner Leia.
Samurai’s Solitude

Shogun’s Solitude has returned to its roots, shedding the Vader samurai makeover for a more serene, traditional look. Perched high in the southwest mountains, this POI blends peaceful gardens, koi ponds, and red-leafed trees with spacious dueling platforms and scattered loot spots.
Outpost Enclave

A dusty dive bar in the middle of nowhere. Think Mos Eisley but with fewer band instruments and more loot caches. A hotspot for smugglers, secrets, and suspiciously good tacos (probably).
Brutal Boxcars

This train station is brutal, alright – brutally underwhelming. Few chests, little loot, and not much else going on. Land here only if you’re desperate or enjoy the thrill of pickaxing everyone to death.
Canyon Crossing

Canyon Crossing is a mix of southwest vibes and cliffside chaos. With bun shops, tall loot-heavy buildings, and a lake looming below, this POI is rich in rewards but comes with a catch – falling off the crossing means instant elimination.
Demon’s Dojo

Home to The Night Rose, this top-right POI is where you go to tango with a boss. Beat her, and you’ll snag her medallion, a Veiled Precision SMG, and her fancy Void Oni Mask Mythics. Just make sure you’re up for the fight – or prepared to run.
Flooded Frogs

This picturesque POI might just be the prettiest spot on the map. An ancient Japan-inspired design with frog-shaped waterfalls and a bright red building that stands out as one of the map’s most picturesque spots. As the Season went on, the water in Flooded Frogs began to drain.
Foxy Floodgate

This enormous dam splits the center of the map. There are few loot areas with questionable cover. On the bright side, the ziplines make it easy to navigate, whether you’re zipping up, down, or trying to escape a firefight.
Hopeful Heights

Like Masked Meadows but smaller, grittier, and more industrial. It’s tucked into the bottom-right corner of the map, perfect for those who prefer a quiet drop to avoid the early-game chaos.
Kappa Kappa Factory

It used to be a tiny farm, but now it’s a full fledged factory. I didn’t know I wanted to land in a factory with an oddly fraternity-like name until it was there. It’s industrial, it’s lootable, and it’s one of the better spots to find gear – if you can handle the competition.
Pumped Power

Situated between Magic Mosses and Demon’s Dojo, this power station keeps things simple: compact, loot-rich, and easy to navigate. Perfect for players who like efficiency in their looting sprees.
Shattered Span

It’s a scenic bridge connecting Canyon Crossing to other POIs. It used to be pretty on the eyes, but now it’s been wrecked by Godzilla. You can spot Godzilla’s footprints nearby.
Whiffy Wharf

This remote port in the northwest is as smelly as it sounds. The loot’s average, and the location’s inconvenient. Unless you’re avoiding people or enjoy living on the edge of the storm, skip it.
