DexertoFortnite has introduced the Golden Gunslinger Quests to celebrate Midas’s return as part of the 34.10 update in Chapter 6 Season 2. These tasks offer a mix of free and exclusive Outlaw Battle Pass skins and cosmetics as rewards.
The 34.10 update, released on March 11, marks the first major content patch of the season, bringing fresh Story and Weekly quests to the Battle Royale island.
Alongside these, a set of Midas-themed quests has arrived, marking the return of the iconic character with the debut of the Outlaw Midas and Ghost Outlaw Midas skins.
Below is a full breakdown of every Golden Gunslinger Quest, including all the free and premium rewards you can earn.
All Golden Gunslinger Quests in Fortnite
Drop 1
There are seven quests to complete in Drop 1, which will all grant you 30K XP as your reward and these are all outlined below:
- Eliminate Fletcher Kane or guards from this Pack (20)
- Deal 100 damage to opponents with a single shotgun blast (3)
- Collect or spend Bars in a single match (1,500)
- Travel distance on Grindable Rails (200)
- Open Vaults (3)
- Collect different Medallions or Boons (4)
- Survive Storm Circles (20)
Drop 2
- Travel distance while under the effects of Gold Rush (1,000)
- Reveal players with a Pulse Scanner or Scout Specialist (5)
- Launch opponents a cumulative distance with The Kneecapper’s Charged Smash, or Shockwave Grenades
- Damage opponents with Midas’ Gilded Eye Drum Gun or Brutus’ Minigun (500)
- Damage players with Exotic weapons (500)
- Hit players beyond 40 meters (10)
- Acquire Accolades or Acknowledgements (200)
Fortnite initially scheduled the new quests to be available to players on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 7 AM PT | 10 AM ET | 2 PM GMT. However, they were not granted to players as planned due to technical issues.
Four hours later, Epic Games provided an update via their Fortnite Status account on Twitter/X, stating that the quests are now being granted to players who have completed all the Drop 1 quests, and there have been no further issues.
All Free and Battle Pass Midas skin rewards
As part of the Golden Gunslinger event, players can complete two sets of bonus goals to unlock exclusive Midas-themed rewards: Bonus Goals and Bonus Goals – Battle Pass.
As the titles suggest, the Bonus Goals – Battle Pass rewards are exclusive to those who have purchased this season’s Lawless Battle Pass, while the standard Bonus Goals can be claimed for free by all players.

You’ll have until the end of Chapter 6 Season 2—May 2 at 9 PM PT (May 1) | 12 AM ET | 4 AM GMT—to complete all the Golden Gunslinger Quests, progress through every Bonus Goal tier, and claim all available rewards.
The 34.10 update also introduced Outlaw Factions to the Lawless season, bringing new Keycards, powerful pre-set Loadouts, and an expanded weapon pool featuring brand-new weapons and Mythics.
Additionally, Epic has revived the iconic Getaway Limited-Time Mode (LTM) from Chapter 1, giving it a fresh twist for this season and bringing it back to Battle Royale years later.
