Chapter 6 Season 2 map
Three brand-new POIs to explore, which are all outlined below:
- Crime City: Towering dark buildings contrasted by vibrant neon lights.
- Outlaw Oasis: Large golden-filled mansion featuring a vault and replacing the Lost Lake POI.
- Shiny Shafts: An open mining site location with small buildings, and various tunnels.
Despite only the Baron’s Mansion being known to replace the Lost Lake, three other POIs from the previous season being removed are: Warrior’s Watch, Nightshift Forest, Twinkle Terrace. These are expected to be replaced by the two other new locations mentioned.
We have provided a full in-depth breakdown of the new Chapter 6 Season 2 map changes and POIs coming next season.
Vaults, Heists, and Medallions
The Lawless season is set to live up to its name, introducing high-stakes heists across the map where players can break into vaults and loot-filled vans packed with Gold Bars, rare items, and even Medallions.
For the first time, Season 2 offers players access to a carriage aboard the moving train that circles the Battle Royale island. But beware—the train is heavily fortified, guarded by henchmen and a turret, all protecting a valuable vault inside.
The season’s key art teases a Possum skin escaping from the train while holding a Medallion, implying that a Medallion will be a reward granted for breaking it open. Another vault was shown in Season 2’s trailer, located within the new Baron’s Mansion POI. It was shown to contain a standard chest mysteriously nestled next to two of Big Dill’s Medallions.
Fortnite sneakily revealed the three ways to open the vaults, which all involve using three brand-new weapons: Rocket Drill, Plasma Burst Rifle, and Meltanite. It is not yet known if these are the only way or if other weapons can still deal damage to the secure doors.
