These little coins are worth more than Gold Bars, but you can only spend them at the Black Market. These are the shady underground shops where you can trade your hard-earned Dill Bits for Mythic weapons, rare gear, and powerful Boons.
Finding them won’t be hard (if you can survive long enough), but competition is fierce. So, if you want the best loot, you better be quick, be smart, and – above all – be ready to fight for it.
What is the Black Market?
Black Markets are a new mechanic in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2. They’re a secret hub where you can trade Dill Bits and Gold Bars for powerful weapons, rare items, and unique boons.
All Black Market locations
There are three Black Market locations across the Island: inside a mountain North of Crime City, underneath a building south of Magic Moses, and in a field south of Seaport City.
DexertoCrime City Black Market
To find the Crime City Black Market, look for the tallest gold mountain in the area (which is also conveniently marked with a Black Market icon). Here, either look for the fenced entrance on the top or base of the mountain and follow the rails to find it.
Here, you can get the Pump and Dump, the Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher, and the Sentinel Pump Shotgun mythics.
Magic Mosses Black Market
DexertoTo find the Magic Mosses Black Market, follow the white icon on the screen and open the main door to enter the black house above it. Once inside, look for a staircase on the left side of the cabin. Down there, you’ll spot a hidden passage behind a bookcase leading to this Black Market.
Here, you can get the Midas Drumgun, Lawless Stink Rifle, and Lawless Heavy Impact Tracking Rifle mythics.
Seaport City Black Market
To find the Seaport City Black Market, head to the fields south of Seaport City. Here, look for a tiny building with a Reboot Van parked outside. Head inside, go through the double blue doors, and drop down to find this Black Market.
Here, you can find the Lawless Slap Cannon, Lawless Trinity Assault Rifle and the Brutus’ Minigun.
How to get Dill Bits
Dill Bits can be found inside bank vaults or the train vault in the island. Each vault contains two Dill Bit coins.
Vaults are often high-traffic locations, so be prepared for fights when trying to secure Dill Bits. If you can claim them early, you’ll have an advantage over your opponents in gearing up quickly.
Do Dill Bits carry over between matches?
Dill Bits do not carry over between matches in Fortnite. Any Dill Bits you collect during a game must be spent before the match ends. Once a new game starts, your Dill Bit balance resets to zero, so make sure to use them wisely while you can.
