In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, choosing the best landing spots is crucial for gaining an early advantage and securing a Victory Royale during your Battle Royale matches.
Whether it’s landing spots with tons of loot or quieter spots with prime locations on the island, some locations in Fortnite have proved better than others to head for when jumping out of the Battle Bus.
Epic Games has launched the bug-filled season, adding four new POIs to the Chapter 6 map. The island is now packed with bug guns and exotic weapons, all ripe for an epic showdown against Megazord.
Below is a list of the best Fortnite locations you can land at in Chapter 6 Season 4.
Best drop spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4

OXR Base
If you want a safe start with the potential for a big loot jackpot, OXR Base Alpha is the place to go.
This base can sometimes spawn a Defend Outpost event, where you take out 20 bugs to unlock a drop pod packed with high-tier loot. If you’re lucky, you can even get two pods in one match. Even without the event, you’re looking at 10–15 chests, 10 ammo crates, plenty of floor loot, and both weapon and health buy stations for gold. About five Slurp Barrels are scattered around for quick shield boosts.
If things get messy, a nearby Reboot Van offers a fast recovery option, and a launch pad can take you straight to the Hive for early fights.
South of The Hive
If you’re looking for an underrated pick with great loot potential, Bugged Tower is worth a visit. You’ll find 13 chests, a few ammo crates, and most importantly, multiple bug nests in the area. Clearing these nests triggers a drop pod filled with strong loot, similar to the Defend Outpost rewards.
The bugs are manageable if you keep moving and use cover, and the reward is well worth the effort. The one downside here is the lack of a nearby Reboot Van; you’ll have to trek east to the Bird to Go gas station for revives. This is a solid choice for confident early-game players who value quick, uncontested loot.
Pumpin Pines
Pumpin Pines is a great low-key drop with loot, mobility, and rotation options.
With 10–12 chests (many hidden underground), 10 ammo crates, and a Slurp Truck right at the start, you can get geared up and shielded within minutes. A car can spawn here for fast movement, and there’s a launch pad on top of the landmark for rotating toward OXR HQ or the First Order Base.
The nearby Reboot Van adds extra security if your team takes an early hit. It’s a peaceful spot to start but still close enough to action when you’re ready to push.
Placid Patties
Placid Patties is perfect if you want quick loot and the option to rotate aggressively. This spot offers around 15 chests, 10 ammo crates, and a Slurp Truck for instant shields. Two car spawns mean you can leave quickly or chase early eliminations, and its proximity to the Hive makes it a great staging area for mid-game fights or cleanup duty. It’s a well-rounded drop that works for a variety of playstyles.
