Fortnite just got a massive Black Market update, rolling in 12 new mythics to the Chapter 6 Season 2 loot pool. Players are hyped – but also a little terrified – to ditch the Kneecapper meta, only to end up with their forgotten nemesis.
Three weeks after Chapter 6 Season 2, Lawless, dropped, Fortnite hit players with a meaty update. It’s not just flashy new skins or a Reboot Van overhaul, the real game-changer is twelve fresh mythics that will start lurking in the Black Market.
Though only half of them are unvaulted on day one, dataminers found three mythic Snipers sneaking their way into Battle Royale this season. But one of them, dropping on March 11, holds the power to end the reign of melee in Chapter 6.
The Lawless Heavy Impact Tracking Rifle briefly reveals the location of players and chests around the impact point of your shots. Those Kneecaper wielders are about to get one-shot from miles away
Fortnite 34.10 update loot changes
The latest update begins to throw these 12 Exotics into the Black Market mix:
- Lawless Slap Cannon
- Lawless Accelerant Holo Twister AR
- Lawless Trinity Assault Rifle
- Lawless Rift Launcher
- Lawless Final Mark Rifle
- Lawless Explosive Mammoth Pistol
- Lawless Twinfire Slap Shotgun
- Lawless Blink Pump & Dump
- Lawless Heavy Impact Tracking Rifle
- Lawless Stink Rifle
- Lawless Slap Cannon (yes, twice)
- Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher
At launch, the Black Market stocked some heavy hitters. Crime City, Magic Mosses, and Backwoods all had Mythic and Legendary weapons up for grabs – Sentinel Pump Shotguns, Striker Burst Rifles, and even an Enhanced Collateral Damage AR. Each location offered a different selection, forcing players to strategize where to shop (or steal).
But these new weapons turn the dial up to 12. The standout is, of course, Snipers. Players are begging to know: “Are these non-bullet drop?” Three new sniper-style weapons hit this patch, and Fortnite’s community is bracing for chaos.
Snipers have always been divisive. Some love the challenge – landing a perfect shot is a rush. Others hate getting deleted from 200 meters away.
That said, snipers are still ranged weapons, so they’re already better than the Kneecapper meta for the average player.
Overpowered melee weapons turn Fortnite into a mindless rush-fest where strategy and aim mean nothing. Just spam that busted melee, send people flying, and tank through builds like a wrecking ball. With multiple snipers dropping in, Kneecapper abusers are finally going to have to think twice before mindlessly charging in.
This update proves Epic isn’t done shaking things up. More Black Market loot could be coming. Lawless is living up to its name, and Fortnite’s future looks wilder than ever.
