All bosses in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 boss

Fortnite bosses are formidable opponents, but they drop powerful rewards to help you win Battle Royale matches. Here’s a guide to every Chapter 6 Season 4 boss you can defeat, including their locations and how best to defeat them.

These Fortnite NPC foes are no walk in the park, and they won’t hesitate to eliminate you, sending you straight back to the lobby. However, they’re well worth the challenge, with some being much easier to defeat than others.

Season 4 features three versions of the same boss: the Bug Queen. Despite the lack of visual variety, they all reward you with distinct, valuable loot.

Location

Springleg commands Ranger’s Ruin, a desolate outpost near the eastern cliffs. Watch for bug-infested debris and green mist creeping out of the buildings.

How to beat

After clearing bug swarms, Springleg crashes down from above. She’s highly mobile and hits hard with her close-range attacks. Shotguns and SMGs work well, but don’t get surrounded. Use long-range weapons to stay safe while thinning the bugs.

Rewards

Springleg drops a Mythic Tactical Shotgun and the Springleg Medallion, granting a double jump and fall damage immunity.

Location

Surge lurks in The Hive, a twisted bug nest teeming with Swarmers and Bombers. You’ll find it southeast of the map, marked by writhing hive walls and glowing sap.

How to beat

Land nearby to gear up. Bring mid-range weapons, full shields, and lots of healing. Clear the minions to summon Surge. She’s fast and unpredictable, so keep moving and avoid close-quarters combat. Use height to your advantage.

Location

Carapace rules Demon’s Debris, a corrupted temple west of the map. Look for crimson vines and glowing altars.

How to beat

Carapace appears after you eliminate waves of Swarmers. She’s the tankiest of the Queens and backed by bomb-throwing minions. Keep distance, use explosives or rifles, and bring plenty of shields.

Loot drops

Carapace drops the Mythic O.X.R. Assault Rifle and the Carapace Medallion, which grants 50 health per elimination and slow shield regen up to 50, a strong pick for sustain-focused players.

These are all the bosses you can find in Chapter 6 Season 4. Epic Games has not yet revealed if another boss will arrive on the island, but a fight alongside the Power Rangers seems inevitable in the future.

Fortnite has also made some major map changes and dropped brand-new exotic weapons.
