FIFA 23 FUT Champs qualifying
In FIFA 22, to even get access to the FUT Champs playoffs, players needed to earn Champions Qualification Points.
These could only be obtained by winning matches in FUT’s Division Rivals game mode; a system that has been retained in EA SPORTS’ FIFA 23. Players need 1,500 qualification points to be eligible.
Needless to say that a great way to secure more points for next weekend is to compete in the preceding weekend’s competition.

EA has continued with its recent changes to FUT Champs play-off qualification by making it so that to enter the Weekend League you’ll need four wins and a loss out of the ten qualifying matches.

EA SportsIf you’re successful in your efforts to enter the Weekend League, then the games to play open up on a Friday evening and close on Monday morning. Given that the concept is the ‘Weekend League,’ FIFA 23 has stuck to this established format.
How many games do you need to play in FIFA 23 FUT Champs?
FIFA 23 has once again remained accessible to aspiring Weekend League players and is only asking users to take part in 20 games. Back when it first began, there were 40 matches for players to wade through. This has been lessened in recent years, first to 30 matches and now down to just 20.
FUT Champions points and rank system
Ranks
Another area in which FUT Champs has remained consistent is in its rank format and criteria for achieving the various ranked. There’s still 10 ranks in total and the points required are largely the same as past instalments of FIFA.

In order to ascend up the ranks, players need to earn points. There’s 4 points given for a win and 1 point for a loss.
In theory, players could lose all 20 games in FIFA 22 FUT Champs, unlocking Rank 9 rewards in the process.
EA SportsWhat actually happened was that many players would score an own goal and quit their match, giving free wins to speed up the process. After this formality was completed, players could end up with several free wins and earn great rewards for not actually winning any matches.
