MrBeast has officially broken the retweet record on Twitter/X after surpassing 3.8 million retweets.

X owner Elon Musk launched an ad revenue-sharing program where users are able to make money off the ads in their videos. The program is used to encourage creators to post higher-quality content.

Of course, MrBeast, a known social media presence, has already benefited from the X program, as he was able to make $250,000 from 160 million views on one video posted to the platform — a number far greater than many are able to achieve.

Luckily, though, for MrBeast fans, they now have the opportunity to also benefit from his fame. In a recent post he made on X, MrBeast offered his $250,000 earnings to 10 random people.

His generous tweet was so well received that it has already surpassed the 3.8 million retweet record on X.

MrBeast will announce the winners on January 25

MrBeast tweeted on Monday, January 22, “I’m gonna give 10 random people that repost this and follow me $25,000 for fun (the $250,000 my X video made). I’ll pick the winners in 72 hours.”

His tweet went on to receive over 3.9 million retweets, passing the record held by the billionaire Japanese businessman, Yusaku Maezawa.

Yusaka, who offered money to his followers as well, reached 3.8 million retweets for his generosity in January 2019.

Though MrBeast has yet to announce the various winners of $25,000, it’s clear many people have their hopes after retweeting his promising message.

Some even commented how they weren’t even ashamed to repost the tweet, as it’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Many X users also mentioned that they would share their winnings with others, seemingly inspired by MrBeast’s philanthropy.

Though MrBeast didn’t mention in his initial tweet where he will reveal the 10 winners, he will likely post them to X once the 72 hours is over this afternoon.
