EA SPORTSFantasy FC has arrived in EA FC 25, returning after appearing in the last three Ultimate Team seasons. Once again, it brings plenty of special cards that upgrade over time.
EA FC 25 has been jam-packed with promos so far, whether it’s new additions like Grassroot Greats or old favorites like Future Stars. The most popular events in Ultimate Team include live cards, which upgrade over time to ensure they’re always part of the meta, and that’s exactly what Fantasy FC does.
First introduced in FIFA 22, this campaign is directly tied to how teams perform in their respective leagues. So, here’s everything you need to know about EA FC 25 Fantasy FC, including the players featured.
When is Fantasy FC?
The promo began on Friday, February 21, 2025, and is expected to run for at least two weeks. Team 2 arrives on February 28, but it’s unclear right now if there will be a third release.
There’s no word yet on how long it will last this time around, but previous years have run two weeks, bringing two separate squads. With this in mind, we expect it to end on Friday, March 7.

Fantasy FC is an Ultimate Team promo that brings a fresh set of live cards to the game. These items receive special upgrades based on how the team and player depicted on the card perform over a set period of time.
This is a drastic shift from other live cards, such as RTTF, which are usually tied to just the team and not the player. Here’s how the upgrades work:
Current players
- Player gets one goal or assist (attacker/midfielder) / one clean sheet in next four games: +1 PlayStyle and PlayStyle+
- Club wins two out of next four matches: +1 rating and +1 Role++
- Player avoids yellow or red card in next four matches: +1 rating and five-star skills or weak foot
- Club scores 10 goals in next four games: One stat is upgraded to 99
- Club wins main domestic cup: +1 PlayStyle Plus and 99 stat
- Club wins domestic league: +1 PlayStyle+ and +1 rating
