Musiala dribbling in EA FC 26

EA FC 26 features a stacked lineup of official leagues and licenses in an effort to deliver the most authentic football experience around.

While games like eFootball, UFL, and even Rematch have tried to prize players away, EA SPORTS FC remains the undisputed king of football games, at least in terms of sales. The ever-addictive Ultimate Team and Career Mode keep fans coming back year after year.

One of the biggest reasons for this ongoing success is the unrivalled number of official competitions and teams packed in each year. While gameplay and features are important, being able to control your favorite team with the proper kit, crest, and stadium goes a long way to making it authentic.

So, what does EA FC 26 have to offer in terms of licenses? Here’s the confirmed lineup.

Clubs

Nearly every team in the leagues mentioned above will feature official names, kits, and badges, although there are some noticeable exceptions.

Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan will once again be replaced by generic clubs with custom kits, due to their exclusivity deal with Konami and eFootball. In FC 25, they were known as Milano FC and Lombardia FC respectively, although they still had official players with facescans.

The same will likely be true for Lazio and Atalanta, who were called Latium and Bergamo Calcio last season.

Cups

On top of all the national leagues, there will also be official tournaments that appear in both Career Mode and Ultimate Team. These are:

  • UEFA Champions League
  • UEFA Europa League
  • UEFA Super Cup
  • UEFA Conference League
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League
  • CONMEBOL Libertadores
  • CONMEBOL Sudamericana
  • CONMEBOL Recopa
Champion's League in EA FC 26

Fans will have been hoping for a mention of the World Cup, given that the tournament is due to take place in 2026. However, given that FIFA is no longer partnered with EA, it’s unlikely to appear this time around.

In the past, EA SPORTS signed long-term deals with many of these teams and leagues to ensure that they could include real-life stadiums. While nothing is officially confirmed yet, we’re yet to hear of any of these agreements expiring, so they should all appear in FC 26 once again.

Of course, it’s worth keeping in mind that many of these competitions and stadiums are still unconfirmed, and that we’ve included them based on their appearance in last year’s games. We’ll be sure to keep this page updated with all the latest announcements as soon as they happen.

In the meantime, take a look at all the promos still coming in EA FC 25, as well as the best formations to use.
