Disney Dreamlight Valley Tales of Agrabah patch notes: Aladdin & recipe filter

If you’ve ever thought, You know what my Valley needs? More Agrabah, then congratulations, your oddly specific Disney Dreamlight Valley wish has been granted.

With the upcoming Disney Dreamlight Valley free update, Tales of Agrabah, we’re getting two new characters, exciting gameplay mechanics, and a flying carpet buddy. Under said carpet lies the real magic, though – a recipe filter.

What’s in the Tales of Agrabah update?

New Realm: Aladdin Realm

Step into the Dream Castle and journey through the Aladdin Realm door to arrive in Agrabah’s bustling marketplace, inspired by Disney’s Aladdin.

New characters: Aladdin and Jasmine

There, you’ll meet two beloved characters – Aladdin and Jasmine – who are ready to join you in the Valley with brand-new Friendship Quests and dazzling Friendship Rewards.

While exploring this magical new Realm, keep an eye out for a very familiar flying carpet – it might just become your new favorite companion.

New features

• Stealth: There’s a new way to explore and interact with the world: stealth.
• Dreamlight Tapestry Glider: Harness the magic of Dreamlight in an all-new way.
• Gem Stall: Discover a new place to buy and sell precious gems.

Oasis Star Path

The new Oasis Star Path is bringing resort-inspired fashions, furniture, and even special items for your animal companions.

Spring Seasonal Events

• A brand-new in-game event is hopping into the Valley – plus, the Eggstravaganza event is back.
• Weekly DreamSnap challenges in Tales of Agrabah will help shake off that winter chill and welcome the new season.
• Spring-themed items are arriving in Scrooge McDuck’s Store.

• Cooking enhancements:
  • Locate recipes faster with a new search bar.
  • Easily find meal requests with improved sorting tabs.
  • Queue up multiple meals with the all-new Slow Cooker!
  • Resource-saving improvements for recipes using generic ingredients.
• UI & inventory upgrades:
  • Items now display their origin (Valley or expansions).
  • Villager favorite gifts of the day are now clearly marked!
• New room customization:
  • Expand your creativity with custom room sizes and additional rooms for secondary houses.
  • Wallpapers now allow design offsetting for better decorating.
• New Floating Islands:
  • Four new islands arrive in Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust, and Forgotten Lands.
• Premium Shop enhancements:
  • Pin two bundles at a time to ensure you don’t miss out on deals.
  • New Moonstone packs now include exclusive seasonal cosmetic items.
• Mail improvements:
  • Players can now remove mailboxes from secondary houses.

Major Bug Fixes & Adjustments

• Fixed an issue where a squid placed on the ground could not be picked up.
• Fixed issues preventing DreamSnap rewards from being received.
• Fixed various quest progression blockers across multiple missions.
• Fixed an issue where rain wouldn’t appear.
• Fixed an issue causing the game to freeze while collecting Star Path rewards.
• Fixed multiple clothing clipping issues and incorrect categorizations.
• Fixed floating furniture placement bugs and missing item tags.
