Disney Dreamlight Valley Cheshire Cat Tail recipe & how to make it

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wonderland Whimsy update is finally here, and you’ll need to track down some ingredients if you wish to make the new Cheshire Cat Tail recipe. 

DDV always adds new recipes for players to use, and the April 23 Wonderland Whimsy update has plenty to complete. One such recipe is the new Cheshire Cat Tail, which, as you might have guessed, is based around Alice in Wonderland’s iconic pink and purple striped cat. 

So, if you’re trying to make all the latest desserts or just want to complete the Wonderland Whimsy questlines, you’ll need to know how to make Cheshire Cat Tail. Here’s the full recipe, its ingredients, and how to make this dreamy dessert.

The Cheshire Cat Tail recipe is a four-star recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley, meaning it requires four different ingredients. These are the following:

• Cocoa
• Egg
• Sugarcane
• Wheat

How to get the ingredients

Cocoa is found on Cacao Trees in the Glade of Trust and the Sunlit Plateau. Given their brown colour, the Cocoa fruits are easy to spot. You’ll be able to harvest a maximum of three Cocoa beans from a single fruit, which means you’ll have enough leftover for over DDV recipes. 

Next up are Eggs. These can be purchased from Chez Remy for 220 Star Coins. You’ll gain access to this restaurant after you’ve completed the A Restaurant Makeover quest. Once you’ve unlocked the restaurant, head over to the Plaza, Courtyard, or The Bind to access Remy’s ingredient supplies. 

Sugarcane is grown via Sugarcane Seeds, which are purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach for five Star Coins. If you don’t want to grow them yourself, then Goofy’s stall occasionally allows you to buy Sugarcane directly for 29 Star Coins. 

Lastly, Wheat can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. The seeds cost one Star Coin each and only take one minute to grow. 

How to make Cheshire Cat Tail in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once you have all four ingredients, head over to the nearest cooking pot and put in the Cocoa, Egg, Sugarcane, and Wheat. You’ll need to ensure you have enough coal for the cooking process, so if you don’t have any, then venture over to the mining nodes in the Valley or buy some from Kristoff’s Stall for five Star Coins. 

With all the ingredients placed in the pot and the fire stoked with coal, your Cheshire Cat Tail will be all cooked in no time.
