Dexerto / GameloftDisney Dreamlight Valley’s Cheshire Cat has finally been made available, with fans being able to fully unlock him after the release of the Wonderland Whimsy update. So, to celebrate its release, Gameloft has upped the chaos by releasing the Cheshire Cat Chaos event.
The Cheshire Cat has always been known for being a little chaotic and confusing, his unlock quests in-game showcase their fair share of confusing mysteries.
However, as it goes with the newest character and the game’s recipes, you’ll have to work out plenty of the Cheshire Cat Chaos event yourselves, with various new Duties, Rewards, and Limited-Time Items to look for. So, if you need a little help sifting through it all, here’s all you need to know.
Cheshire Cat Chaos start & end dates
DDV’s Cheshire Cat Chaos Chaos event began on May 7, 2025, and will run until May 20, 2025, at midnight local time.
This gives players just under two weeks to complete the various Duties, grab the rewards, and collect the items required.
How to take part
The event has two limited-time items that players need to collect, one of which will spawn memories, which will complete one of the rewards. The other will complete the Duties that have been added to the game.
Cheshire Cracks
Dexerto / GameloftCheshire Cracks will spawn every 15 minutes and are located solely in Dreamlight Valley, and up to five Cheshire Cracks can be found at one time. They look like small pink cracks in the ground, as shown in the image above.
You’ll need to use your shovel to dig them up, and they have a chance to drop a Pink Memory Shard or 500 Star Coins, which will unlock the Cheshire Cat Memory, and complete the Duties.

Cheshire Paw Prints
Cheshire Paw Prints are found inside Realms, and will spawn one every ten minutes, with a maximum of five spawning at any one time. You’ll need to water them with your watering can, which will wash them away and help you complete certain Duties.
You can find Paw Prints in the following Realms:
- Toy Story Realm
- Lion King Realm
- Aladdin Realm
Dexerto / GameloftYou’ll want to head into all three Realms in order to grab all the Cheshire Cat Prints, as each will let you complete the new Duties.

Completing the Disney Dreamlight Valley Cheshire Cat Chaos Chaos event Duties will unlock various rewards from the list below, each with an Alice in Wonderland theme:

How to complete all duties
The Cheshire Cat Chaos event has four different Duties to complete: Calmer of Chaos, Clean Your Room!, Jungle Bungles, and More Than a Mirage. Here’s what you need to do to finish them all:
Calmer of Chaos
To complete the Calmer of Chaos Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to complete the Cheshire Cat Memory by removing the Cheshire Cracks in the ground throughout your Valley.
Dexerto / GameloftThere are ten Memories to find before you complete the Calmer of Chaos Duty. Once you do, you’ll receive the Cheshire Cat Memory as a reward.
Clean Your Room!
To complete the Clean Your Room! Duty, head into the Toy Story Realm and remove 20 Paw Prints from its location.
Dexerto / GameloftOnce you do, you’ll receive the Rabbit Rocking Chair as a reward.
Jungle Bungles
To complete Jungle Bungles, you’ll need to head into the Lion King Realm and remove 20 Paw Prints using your Watering Can.
Dexerto / GameloftWhen you complete the task, you’ll receive the Rabbit Vanity as a reward.
More Than a Mirage
Similar to Jungle Bungles and Clean Your Room!, you’ll need to remove 20 Paw Prints from the Aladdin Realm with your Watering Can.
Dexerto / GameloftWhen you do, you’ll be rewarded with the Rabbit Grandfather Clock furniture item.
