Each week, a different Nightfall weapon is featured in Destiny 2, giving Guardians the chance to farm up their desired rolls from any difficulty, from Standard all the way up to Grandmaster.
As is the standard for most activities that rotate on a weekly schedule, like the Ascendant Challenge, Dungeon and Raid rotation, and Trials of Osiris, the featured Nightfall and its associated weapon change every Tuesday at weekly reset, meaning you’ve got a seven-day window to farm the featured weapon until it’s replaced with another.

Current Nightfall weapon rotation
As of Episode Heresy Act 3, nine weapons in the Nightfall weapon pool rotate in availability, with the newest being Cruel Mercy, added in Destiny 2’s Rite of the Nine update. The rotation for Episode Heresy is as follows:
