Without competition, Episode Heresy has seen some of the strongest weapons to date pass through Destiny 2’s gates, but one of its best PvE additions is at odds with how Guardians go about obtaining it.
Such discrepancies aren’t exactly rare, of course, but Exalted Truth’s refreshed perk pool for Heresy swings so far in favor of PvE that it’s a noteworthy anomaly, especially as it’s earned from Destiny 2’s pinnacle PvP activity.
Fortunately, the massive revamp to Trials of Osiris in Heresy makes farming its exclusive weapons infinitely easier than before, and this is one roll you can’t afford to pass up on for your Void builds.

DexertoFollowing some much-needed buffs in Heresy, Destabilizing Rounds is now Void’s de facto best perk, going toe-to-toe with Solar’s Incandescent as one of the best add-clear perks in the sandbox, but its strengths don’t start and end with a single trait.
Void received massive buffs across the board with Destiny 2’s third Episode in the form of a handful of new weapon perks. One of these, Demoralize, is what you will want alongside Destabilizing Rounds on your Exalted Truth.
Demoralize spreads Weaken to nearby enemies on precision kills – an effortlessly easy prerequisite to meet that makes every Volatile explosion triggered by Destabilizing Rounds inflict more damage. A single kill on a Minor can and will clear out entire rooms of densely packed ads.
To round out the roll, Reload Speed is the preferred Masterwork, as Exalted Truth’s high base range makes boosting it further in PvE largely redundant. Likewise, Arrowhead Brake gives more of the good stuff you’ll want outside of Crucible, namely smoother handling and a small bump to recoil reduction.
