Destiny 2’s annual Guardian Games returns with weekly reset on March 11 alongside Heresy Act 2 and it’s packing some serious heat on the rewards front.
Like previous iterations of the event, players can earn Medallions via various means – including from Rushdown, a new boss rush mode – and deposit them at the Tower to increase their chosen class’s standing and reap truckloads of loot.
Bungie’s trend of bringing back weapons introduced in previous years’ recurring events with modernized perk pools continues in 2025’s Guardian Games, and the biggest beneficiary this time is undoubtedly The Title.

The Title’s refreshed perk pool makes it a monster for Void builds.Remember The Immortal, the Trials of Osiris SMG introduced in Season 20 that completely warped the meta? Yeah? Well, say hello to its successor.
While The Title has slightly less Stability and Handling than its Strand-element cousin, it has access to better perk combos, including the best perk combo for its weapon family in Ricochet Rounds and Rangefinder. The latter perk can be swapped out for Surrounded if you prefer to get in the thick of the action.
SMGs aren’t top-tier in PvP right now but Heresy Act 2’s Pulse Rifle nerfs give the weapon type more room to breathe as mid-range monsters, so don’t be surprised to see SMGs gain ground in the inevitable meta reshuffle.
For PvE; the benefits continue. The now-standard perk combo for Void weapons, Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds, is a possible roll for The Title. Not absurd to the same degree as Exalted Truth‘s Destabilizing Rounds and Demoralize combo, but still an excellent accompaniment for any Void or Prismatic build.
