Cyberpunk 2077 romance guide: How to date Panam, Judy & more

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that provides players with a lot of romance options. Here are all of the quests you’ll need to complete to pursue romances with Judy Alvarez, Panam Palmer, River Ward, and Kerry Eurodyne in Night City, as well as some other special encounters in the game.

While there are a handful of famous faces like Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba, they’re merely accessories to the plot for many. It’s the likes of technical genius Judy or rockstar Kerry Eurodyne that have stolen the show, and, more importantly, players’ hearts.

So, who can you romance in Cyberpunk 2077, and how do you go about doing it? After all, flowers and chocolate mean nothing on this city’s mean streets.

All romance options in Cyberpunk 2077

Despite the dystopian title’s lengthy character roster, there are only four characters that are available to romance throughout the story.

All of these options can be long-term, and involvement with these characters will affect how the game’s conclusion plays out:

• Kerry Eurodyne

Judy Alvarez romance

Tattooed tech genius Judy Alvarez is one of the first characters that V meets during their travels in Night City, and is one of the game’s most popular romance options.

Her mild manner and lovable personality have stolen the hearts of many fans, but thankfully, you have the option to try and steal hers, too.

Judy is a gay woman, so to romance her, you’ll need to have the following:

It mostly boils down to keeping Judy happy and not letting her down, but you must agree to help Judy during Talkin’ ’bout a Revolution, then during Pisces, refuse to go along with Maiko’s plan.

Panam Palmer romance

You’ll meet former nomad and mercenary Panam Palmer as part of the Ghost Town main job in Act 2.

Night City is teeming with mercenaries, but none are quite like Panam. Stuck at a crossroads in life, it turns out that V is just who she needs to help rekindle that dwindling spark.

Panam is a straight woman and, therefore, requires these traits to romance:

Panam’s romance is pretty simple; just make sure you’re picking the flirty options and don’t delay starting Riders on the Storm. Then, just stay in her good books throughout, and initiate any romantic options.

Kerry Eurodyne romance

You’ll meet rockstar Kerry Eurodyne as part of the Holdin’ On side job in Act 2.

Dripping in gold and rockstar energy, Kerry Eurodyne made his name alongside Johnny Silverhand during the Samurai years. Socially reclusive, he chooses V to confide in.

Kerry is a gay man, so you’ll need the following to romance this rebel without a cause:

Once you’ve started Kerry’s side quests, just make sure to say “you can tell me” when he opens up to you, and then kiss him when the option appears. Then, in Boat Drinks, join him for the cruise, kiss him again, and then hug him to lock in the relationship.

River Ward romance

River Ward is an NCPD detective you’ll meet in the I Fought the Law side job after completing Life During Wartime in the main story.

Determined to eradicate crime from the streets of Night City, detective River Ward is actually the only main romance option that can die in-game, so be sure to tread carefully.

River is a straight man, so if you’re looking to get a slice of justice, you’ll need these attributes:

The pivotal moment in River’s romance comes in The Hunt, where you’ll have to choose the right farm. Finding all the clues in the braindance means River will take you there, but if you fail, make sure to choose Edgewood.

After this, make your interest in him clear, kiss him, then say “I feel good around you” to lock in the relationship.

Can you romance Lizzy Wizzy?

The short answer is no, you can’t romance Lizzy Wizzy in Cyberpunk 2077. This chromed-up celebrity, played by musician Grimes, actually has a boyfriend called Liam Northam when you first meet her.

No matter how that relationship goes throughout your playthrough, you won’t be able to romance her.

Romantic encounters

You will also be able to have romantic encounters with Meredith Stout, Alt Cunningham, Ruby Collins, Rogue Amendiares, and Joytoys. But none of these are long-term or have any impact on the game’s final ending.

Can you romance two characters at once?

While you can romance two of the characters at once, when the Nocturne Op55N1 mission comes around, you can only call one of them. Whichever one you call will feature in the concluding scenes of the game.

Whoever is left behind will appear in the credit scenes, however, and will also leave Johnny messages to read in New Dawn Fades.

Can you romance Phantom Liberty characters?

No, you can’t romance any of the characters introduced in Phantom Liberty, like Idris Elba’s Solomon Reed, Songbird, or Elena.

However, it does add new dialogue for the existing romance options, letting you speak about your time in Dogtown, but it’s nothing substantial.
