Although Black Ops 7 arrives on November 14, there’s still plenty to look forward to in Warzone, with the Season 5 Reloaded update up next.
Season 5 brought new weapons in its Battle Pass and opened up the Stadium with new Easter eggs to complete for free rewards. But there’s still one more update to come in the mid-season, bringing a new weapon, mode, and events.
Here’s everything we know about Warzone Season 5 Reloaded so far, including the expected start date.
Expected Warzone Season 5 Reloaded start date
We expect the Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update to arrive on Thursday, September 4. Call of Duty seasons typically last eight weeks, with the mid-season update dropping in the fourth week.
However, Season 5 lasts nine weeks and is scheduled to end on October 9. This will be due to the Black Ops 7 beta, which runs from October 2 to October 8. So, there’s a chance Season 5 Reloaded will be released on September 11, but we’ll get confirmation closer to the time.
New revolver weapon

The Season 5 Reloaded update brings the Gravemark .357 Revolver. This eight-shooter single-action revolver is unlocked through the Hell Ride event.
Described as having “High power and considerable range,” it’s held back by its moderate rate of fire and slow reload. However, you can improve it with attachments such as Rapid Fire, Recoil Springs, or Akimbo to dual-wield it.
Deadline LTM
Season 5 Reloaded brings the Deadline LTM. This mode’s all about racking up as many points as possible by killing other players, AI enemies, completing Contracts, looting, and spending cash at Buy Stations.

There are unlimited lives, but with each circle collapse, the team with the lowest amount of score is eliminated. Scores are reset with each new circle, so you can’t take your foot off the gas.

New events
Two new events arrive in the mid-season update: Hell Ride and Atomic Block Party.
Hell Ride is where you’ll unlock the Gravemark .357 Revolver, but all we know is that it challenges players to “save the day from a ticking time bomb.” Then, the Atomic Block Party event celebrates the classic Nuketown map with an event “full of rewards.”
The devs will most likely release another blog detailing Season 5 Reloaded near release, so we’ll know more about how these events work then.
What else to expect
Mid-season updates are smaller than main season updates, but you can still expect content such as:
- Weapon buffs and nerfs
- New gameplay features
- New Operators and crossovers
- Bug fixes
